　　Antarctica is in the most southern part of the world. It is like nowhere else on earth. It is much larger than Europe, and nearly twice the size of Australia. The South Pole (南极)is at its centre. Antarctic is the coldest and windiest place in the world, even colder and windier than the North Pole. We can see walls everywhere in the world. But the Great Wall of China is the longest of all. The Chinese call it “Ten-Thousand- Li Great Wall”, It is in fact more than 6000 kilometers long. When you visit the Great Wall, you can’t help wondering how the Chinese people were able to build such a great wall thousands of years ago.
