高一人教版必修2 Unit 2 The Olympic Games
Period 2 An Interview
教学背景:教学对象是高一新生,英语基础知识和听、说、读、写能力都处于英语中上等水平。现在仍属于初、高中衔接时期,所以在阅读课型上仍不太适应对长篇文章的整体理解。因此,通过让们积极参与实践、学习和使用英语,调动他们学习英语的兴趣,培养他们的阅读技能是本节课的目标。
教材分析:本单元的中心话题是“奥运会”——世界上最重要的体育盛会,通过本单元的学习,使学生了解奥运会的起源、宗旨以及比赛项目,同时介绍了一些古代希腊神话传说和其中的一些著名人物。本节课是对本单元进行教材重组之后的第2课时,阅读课——An Interview 通过一个虚拟的采访向学生介绍了古代和现代奥运会的异同及奥运会的一些基本情况。
教学目标:本课为阅读型课,主要是通过阅读材料让学生抓住要点获取信息。具体目标如下:
(1)知识目标:熟悉并掌握一些新词及短语的用法。
(2)能力目标:通过本节课的学习培养学生快速寻找文章细节、归纳和总结的阅读能力。
(3)情感目标:让学生熟悉奥运会的有关知识,并引发其兴趣,从而培养其民族自豪感和参与竞争的意识,增强其民族荣辱观,激发起强大的爱国主义精神。
(4)教学方法:任务型阅读师生互动 (5)教学策略:多媒体课件
教学过程:Step 1 Review
1) Go over some new words in the reading by asking and answering . (教师采用T-S式用英语或汉语提问以下词语) medal/Greece/magical/interview/host/athletes/admitted/slave/stadium/ prize/gymnasium/as well as/replace
2) Review 2 questions in Warming up :
Q1: Who was China´s first gold winner and for what event?
(Xu Haifeng, shooting)
Q2: What are the three words that show the spirit of the Olympic Games? (Swifter, Higher, Stronger)
【设计意图】由于对教材进行了重组,在进行第一课时时,我已经有意让学生了解了与本节课有关的生词和内容,为学生对reading的理解做了铺垫。
Step 2 Lead-in
Let´s look at some pictures
用多媒体给学生展示四幅图片并配有歌曲《我和你》。
【设计意图】用学生熟悉的图片(2008年北京奥运会开幕式、冠军 )及歌曲活跃了课堂气氛,并使学生轻松进入本节课的主题。
Step 3 Pre-reading
Let the students read and answer the three questions on Page9.
学生对奥运会已经很熟悉,能够轻松地回答这些问题。
【设计意图】使学生进一步熟悉主题,由此引出阅读文章。
Step 4 Reading
Task 1 Skimming:
Let students skim the passage quickly and answer 3 questions.
Q1:What are they mainly talking about?
(The similarities and differences about the ancient Olympics and modern Olympics)
Q2:When he hears that women are allowed to join in,how about his feeling? (Surprised)
Q3:When he hears the Olympics are also about being able to run faster, jump higer and throw further, how does he feel? (Happy)
【设计意图】简要的问题使学生对文章内容有大概的了解,为下一步阅读奠定基础。
Task 2 Scanning:

Step 5 Summary of the interview
The Olympic Games are the biggest sports meeting in the world, which include two kinds, the ________and the ______ Olympics. Both of them are _____ every _____ ______. 【设计意图】让学生加深对文章内容的理解为下节课做好准备。
教学案例反思:
⒈ 课堂导入比较轻松,我认为要想激发学生的兴趣,就应该选择他们所喜爱的素材(歌曲、图片)
⒉本节课的讲授遵循了新课标的要求,强调教师不是作为教学的组织者,是学生学习的合作者,学生的主动学习是重中之重,因此必须充分调动学生的积极性。
⒊本节课在读和说两方面进行了训练,取得了一定效果。
⒋教学中实行多样化的教学组织形式。
总之,本节课我以学生为主体,任务型教学为主线,让学生由浅入深的阅读文章,对阅读技能进行了训练,基本达到了预期目标。不足之处是问题设置的有些太多,有部分学生没有照顾到,没有分层设计问题。
