Dreams do exist. But in the morning when you wake up , they are gone . That is 51 happened to me .

I was very disappointed not to be able to go to the jazz concert last Friday . The notice in the paper said that you could buy tickets at the theatre box office in Richland Hills any day between 10:30am to3:00pm. Since I work from 9:00am to 5:00pm, the only time I could go to the theatre was during my 45minute lunch break. Unluckily, the theatre is on the other side of the town, and the bus service between my office and Richland Hills is not very good. But if you are lucky, you can make the round trip in 45 minutes.
Last Monday , I stood at the bus stop for fifteen minutes waiting for the bus . by the time I saw one come around the corner, there was not enough time left to make the trip,. A young man in Japan wanted to be a great artist . He thought that he must study with the best teacher who lived many miles away. After traveling for several days, he arrived at the school and then visited the teacher. “What do you wish to learn from me ?” the teacher asked.
“I want you to teach me your art and help me become one of the best artists in the country,” the young man replied . “How long must I study?”
“Ten years at least ,”the teacher answered.
The guy thought, “Ten years is a lot of time. I don’t have that much time.”
So he asked the teacher, “What if I study twice as hard as everyone else does? How long would it take then?”
“Then it would take twenty years,”replied the teacher.
The guy thought , “That’s even longer! I don’t want to spend twenty years learning something. Certainly if I try really hard I could learn it much quicker.”
So the student asked again, “What if I practise day and night with all my effort? How long would it take?”
“Thirty years , “ the teacher answered.
The young student wondered why the teacher kept telling him that it would take longer.
He asked the teacher, “Why is it that each time I said I would work harder, you told me that it would take longer?”
“The answer is simple. With one eye focused on your destination, there is only one eye left with which to find the way,”the teacher said.
Any endeavor takes effort, but it also takes patience. If we have one without the other, we get off balance. With only effort, we try and try but get frustrated when we do not see results as fast as we would like, or we get tired very quickly. With only patience and no effort, we never really put our full attention to a task, This is as true with school work as it is with sports.
