Reflection and Reconstruction to Logical Starting
Point of Higher Pedagogy in Our Country
Abstract
Because of the difference of the system of discipline, people seldom regard
higher educational study as a well-rounded discipline, but only a crossed study field
of multi-disciplines. There come more and more researchers with the ideas of
multi-disciplines among higher educational researchers in our country, which
undoubtedly bring about some menace to independence of discipline in our higher
pedagogy. Higher educational study of our country held the point of penetration of
discipline, made higher pedagogy become a discipline actually via discipline set up,
but it is still a young discipline. Professor Pan Mao Yuan thought a well-rounded
discipline must have its whole scientific theoretic system that should reflect inborn
intrinsic logic of education itself. The starting point of logic is the point of departure
of theoretic system constructing a discipline, is the simplest and most abstract
category of discipline structure and system. The prerequisite of constructing higher
pedagogic theoretic system is to make sure scientifically logical starting point, which
ensure owning developmental logical program for itself. By way of the collections
and analysis of data, this thesis reviews the history of higher pedagogy, studies the
disciplinary property of higher pedagogy, reconsiders logical starting point of higher
pedagogic theoretic system put forward previously, and then brings forward
discipline--- relatively reasonable logical starting point of higher pedagogic theoretic
system from the author’s point of view.
The thesis consists of the following five parts:
In the first part, its introduction tells us the background of question, researching
aims and contents, literature review and researching significance, researching
methods and procedure.
In the second part, the historic development and existence of higher pedagogy in
our country, it introduces developmental situation of higher pedagogy and reconsiders
logical starting point of theoretic system of higher pedagogy from four periods; it
analyzes researching tendency of logical starting point of theoretic system of higher
pedagogy from two periods, and discusses the related logical starting point.
In the third part, the methodology of logical starting point of higher pedagogic
theoretic system, this part discusses theoretic system, logical starting point and the
method, principle, characteristics and criteria that affirming logical starting point.
In the fourth part, discipline: new inquiry of logical starting point of theoretic
system of higher pedagogy, the thesis puts forward reasonable logical starting point of
theoretic system of higher pedagogy---discipline, and discusses respectively the
rationality of discipline, as logical starting point of theoretic system of higher
pedagogy from the aspects of value and reality.
