课程简介
计算机辅助设计(一)是一门实践性和运用性非常强的课程,是设计类专业 必修课,也是能贯穿整个本科四年学习中对设计基础表现的运用性课程,本课程 主要教授内容为Photoshop CS6和CoreldrawX6o学习本课程后能到达对基础排 版、图像处理、简单专业方向的设计表现能力,能通过手绘图形式表达设计思维, 最终能用计算机辅助设计软件表现出来。

This Course is useful for students to meet the following graduation requirements: 1,2, 5 and 12
1. Design Knowledge: Students should master sound basic knowledge and professional skills and can apply what they have learn about art and design to solving complicated problems in practice.
2. Problem Analysis: Students are able to apply professional knowledge and theory they have learn about design and identify, express and analyze complicated design problems through literature research to work out effective solutions.
5. Use Modernized Tools: Students can develop, select and use appropriate art technologies, modernized information tools and resources that are suitable for certain complicated problems in environmental design, including predicating and practicing such problems, and understand limitations of such technologies, tools and resources.
12. Life-long Learning: Students recognize the importance of self-learning and life-long learning, can continue learning at any time and arc well adapted to development.

Course
Description
Computer Assisted Design (1) is a course of strong practicality, a compulsory course fbr design discipline, and also a course that uses basic design knowledge throughout the four-ycar undergraduate period. This course focuses on the teaching of Photoshop CS6 and CoreldrawX6. Students will able to complete basic typesetting, graphic processing and simple design presentations, and express their design ideas by hand-painting, and turn these ideas using CAI software eventually.

Assessment
Students' works will be assessed and used as their final scores. Teaching and Research Office will organize the assessment (generally, at least three teachers). Opinions from the teacher giving this course will be considered more important and Teaching and Research Office will review the final results. Scores will be given based on requirements of syllabus, of which, attendance scores take up 20%, regular scores take up 30% and final scores take up 50%.

Course Description
Computer Assisted Design (1) is a course of strong practicality, a compulsory course for design discipline, and also a course (hat uses basic design knowledge throughout the four-year undergraduate period.
