Online payment is generally realized through online instrument such as third-party payment platforms, while offline payment doesn't happen online.
(2) What is the difference between traditional cross-border payment methods and cross-border e-commerce payment methods?
Traditional cross-border payment methods commonly used in B2B cross-border trade mainly include remittance, collection and Letter of Credit, while cross-border e-commerce payment methods refer to those emerging third-party payment platforms.
(3) Do traditional cross-border payment methods exist in the world?
Yes, for example, methods such as Letters of Credit are still widely used in CBEC.
(4) What does the author mean by “coexist” ?
“Coexist” means traditional cross-border payment methods and cross-border e-commerce payment methods will exist together in future market.
