通过这门课程的学习,让学生了解计算机辅助工业设计的流程和 方法,掌握运用计算机三维建模渲染的工具,为以后的设计课程和实 践打下良好的基础。
课程简介
其主要任务是通过计算机应用基础(三维设计)的学习,使学生 掌握应用三维软件(Alias)进行产品设计和表现的基木概念、三维软 件(Alias)的技术基础、设计的产品建模和渲染。从三维的、立体的 角度理解产品造型与结构的密切关系,从感性和理性两个方面培养学 生运用三维软件(Alias)进行产品设计和表现的能力,培养学生的三 维空间想象能力、设计能力和计算机实际操作能力。
教学内容与学时 分配
1.理论教学局部
(一)计算机辅助工业设计的程序和方法8学时
教学内容和要求:
(1)计算机辅助工业设计概论。
(2)Nurbus曲线介绍,曲线的绘制和编辑,基本建面工具
教学重点与难点:
重点:计算机辅助工业设计的概念;Nurbs曲线的基础知识;
难点:CAID和CAD的联系和区别,nurbs建模方式
(二)曲面建模的基本方法和概念8学时
教学内容和要求:
(1)曲面相交工具
(2)空间曲面的建模方法
(3)曲面连续的概念
教学重点与难点:
重点:曲面建模的基本思路和方法
难点:曲面连续性和造型美学特征的联系
(三)曲面高级编辑8学时
教学内容和要求:
(1)曲面编辑工具
(2)过渡曲面的建模方法
(3)曲面软件到工程软件的转化方法
教学重点与难点:
重点:过渡曲面的建模方法,曲面编辑和建立的组合运用,CAII)和CAI)的转化;
难点:过渡曲面的连续性控制,曲面参数的优化,缝合曲面成实体的技巧
(四)综合建模渲染表达8学时
教学内容和要求:
(1)综合运用前面的知识进行产品造型建模
(2)硬件渲染的原理和使用方法
(3)以剃须刀产品为例,讲解计算机辅助工业设计的流程和方法;
教学重点与难点:
重点:建模工具的综合运用,硬件渲染的技巧和方法
难点:根据造型选择不同的建模思路
2.实验教学局部
(一) Nurbs曲线绘制基础4学时 教学内容和要求:根据指定产品绘制二维和三维的nurbs曲线
(二)Alias台灯建模4学时
教学内容和要求:运用基本三维曲面生成方法
(三) Alias电子产品建模4学时 教学内容和要求:MP4建模
(四) Alias家电产品建模4学时 教学内容和要求:电动剃须刀建模和硬件渲染

Teaching Objectives
After the courses, students will have the following capabilities:
Through this course, the students can learn the flow and methods of computer aided industrial design, master tools of three dimensionalmodelling and rendering by computer, thus make a good foundation for future design course and practice.
Course
Description
The main task is to make students master basic concept of product design and presentation using three dimensional software (Alias), technical basis of three dimensional software(Alias), designed products modeling and rendering through learning basics of computer application, understand relationship between product modeling and structure from the angle of three dimension, and train students * products design and presentation
ability by using three dimensional software(Alias), three dimensional spatical imagination ability, design ability and computer practical operational ability from perceptual and rational two aspects.
Distribution of Teaching Contents and Class Hours
1 .Theoretical teaching part
(I) Program and methods for computer aided industrial design 8 class hours
Teach Content and Requirements:
(1) Introduction of computer aided industrial design.
(2) Introduction of Nurbus curve, as well as drawing and editing of curve and basic surface building tools.
Teaching key points and difficult points:
key points:concept of computer aided industrial design; basic knowledge of Nurbs
curve;
difficult points: relation and distinction between CAID and CAD, nurbs modeling method
(II) Basic method and concept for curve modeling 8 class hours
Content and requirements for the teaching:
(1) Curved surface intersection tool
(2) Modelling method for space curved surface
(3) Concept of curved surface continuity
Teaching key points and difficult points:
key points:basic thinking and methods for surface modeling
difficult points: relation between surface continuity and modeling aesthetic characteristics
(III) Surface advanced editing8 class hours
Content and requirements for the teaching:
(1) Surface editing tools
(2) Modeling method fbr transition surface
(3) Surface software transforming to engineering software method
teaching key points and difficult points:
key points: transition surface modeling method, combination of surface editing and building, transformation of CAID and CAD ;
difficult points:continuity control of transition surface, optimization of surface
parameter, skill of stitching surface to entity
(IV) Integrated modeling rendering expression8 class hours
Content and requirements for the teaching:
(1) Perform product modeling by using above knowledge comprehensively.
(2) Principle and using method for hardware rendering
(3) explain the process and method of computer aided industrial design using example of razor;
Teaching key points and difficult points:
key points: comprehensive use of modeling tools, skill and method of hardware rendering
key points:select different modeling thinking based on different molding.
2. Experimental teaching
(I) Nurbs curve drawing basics4 class hours
Content and requirements for the teaching: draw a two dimensional and a three dimensional nurbs curve based on designated products.
(II) Alias lamp modeling4 class hours
Content and requirements for the teaching:apply basic three dimensional surface generation method
(III) Alias electronic product modeling4 class hours
Content and requirements for the teaching: MP4 modeling
(IV) Alias electrical appliances modeling4 class hours
Content and requirements for the teaching: electric razor modeling and hardware rendering
