现在进行时表示现在正在进行或发生的动作，也可表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。
二. 现在进行时结构;Be＋ving
三．.现在进行时几种句型用法：
①陈述句
主语＋be +现在分词，如：
I am reading English.我正在读英语。
He is writing.他正在写字。 You are running.你正在跑步。
②、一般疑问句
Be+主语＋现在分词， 如：
1. -Are you singing?你正在唱歌吗？ -Yes, I am.是的，我在唱歌。

2. -Is he listening to music?他在听音乐吗？
-Yes, he is.是的，他在听音乐。

③、特殊疑问句
疑问词＋be ＋主语＋现在分词，如：
1. -What are you doing?你正在干什么？
-I am doing my homework.我正在做作业。
2. -What is he doing?他正在干什么？
-He is riding a bike.他正在骑自行车。
④否定句
主语＋be ＋not+现在分词
I am not reading English我不在读英语。
这里的现在分词指的是ving形式；像look、listen、now
常出现在现在进行时态句子中。请看：
1.Look! Jack is swimming.看！杰克正在游泳。
2.Listen! She is singing.听！她正在唱歌。
四.动词加ing的变化规则
1．一般情况下，直接加ing，如：cook-cooking
2．以不发音的e结尾，去e加ing，如：make-making, taste-tasting
3．假如末尾是一个元音字母和一个辅音字母，双写末尾的辅音字母，再加ing，如：run-running, stop-stopping

现在进行时
1.现在进行时的构成：Am/is/ are+ v-ing是现在进行时的构成形式
2) 现在进行时的基本用法
1表示说话时正在进行的动作 ○
常和now连用，有时用一个动词如look、listen来表示now这一时间概念。
Look！A train is coming.看！火车来了
Listen！He is playing the piano.听！他在弹钢琴。
2表示现阶段正在进行着的动作 ○
但不一定是说话时正在进行。常和at present、this week、these days等时间状语连用。

一般现在时和现在进行时的区别 ○
一般现在时表示经常性的动作；而现在进行时表示暂时性的动作。
He walks to work.他步行上班。
He’s walking to work because his bike is being repaired.
他现在走着上班，因为他的自行车正在修理。
Where does he live？他家住在哪儿？
Where is he living？他这几天住在哪儿？现在进行时有时可用来代替一般现在时，○表达说话人的某种感惰，使句子有强烈的感情色彩。常与always，forever连用。
You are always forgetting the important thing.你总是把重要的事情忘掉。
Mary is doing fine work at school.玛丽在学校学习得挺不错。
