On average, students in Senior One spend 7 hours per week reading and those in Senior Two 4 hours. Much less time, only 2 hours, is devoted to reading by Senior Three students.Reasons are various. For one thing, most students dont attach enough importance to outside reading. As a consequence, their reading time is often taken up by other activities. For another, with their grade becoming higher, they have more homework to do, leaving no spare time for reading.
