Nowadays, with the growing popularity of computers, teachers, students and their parents are paying less and less attention to handwriting.
A recent survey has asked a number of middle school students on what they think about their handwriting skills. A surprising number of students, 85.8 percent, admit that the quality of their handwriting is poor. When questioned about how they can improve it, 51.5 percent reply that it will be a waste of time as they can use a computer for the majority of their written work. A further 32.3 percent report that with the amount of homework they are assigned each day, they are far too busy to practice. Another 10.9 percent agree that further practice is useless anyway while 5.3% give various other reasons.
In my opinion, a student’s handwriting style is most important in building their confidence in the classroom. In addition, it will benefit the teachers when they correct their students’ homework. Therefore, this aspect should be further developed to assist them in their further working life.

All English learners want to speak English fluently! Here are some ways to help you improve your ability of speaking. Good luck!
Speak as often and as much as possible! This is the best way to learn English! There is nothing better than conversation to help you improve. Whereas, you can practice reading, writing, and listening on your own; it’s obviously better to speak English with someone. The best way to do this is to be in an English speaking environment. Take an English course in an English language school, or better still, learn English in an English-speaking country.
The quickest way to learn English is to surround yourself with English speakers. Also, get into the habit of thinking in English. Don’t translate from your own language into English. It will slow you down. When you talk, use the sentences which instantly and naturally feel right to you. These are often the correct ones. Use yours and trust it.
This might sound a little strange and embarrassing at first, but record what you speak and listen to your own pronunciation, talking speed and the flow of your speaking. It will give you a great chance to see the areas you need to work on. Finally, it’s fun to sing in English, so learn some English songs and sing your heart out!
