S: Good morning! Linna! T: Sit down, please ! Step 2: Emphasize the main rules 1. Introduce the importance of English for students in Grade 5 2. Introduce how to learn English In English class, we should... At home, we should ... Step 3: Presentation 1. Introduce the new words in part B (Showing different pictures on board and explain the meaning.) Teaching Pattern: T→Ss or Ss→ T 2. Learn to say: We’re going to read stories. Students read the passages again and number the pictures. 2. Students do Q&A practice in part C. Step 5 Consolidation Students retell the stories. Homework: Listen to the video and retell the stories.
