含义:名词所有格表示所属关系，就 是 “……的” 的表达方式。
如:玛丽的儿子 Mary's son。
学校的大门 the gate of the school
名词所有格的分类
名词所有格可分为三种:
1、有生命名词的所有格——-'s
2、无生命名词的所有格—-—of（时间，距离，国家、城市等实体例外）
3、双重所有格——-'s ,of
有生命名词的所有格
普通单数名词
在词尾加’s
1.the boy’s bag男孩的书包.(boy是单数名词）
2. Mother’s Day母亲节
复数名词
以-s结尾的，
在词尾只加 ’
1、the two boys’ mother。那两个男孩的母亲
2、the teachers’ office。老师办公室
词尾不是-s结尾的，在词尾加’s
1.Children's Day儿童节
(children本身就是复数名词）
2. men’s room 男厕所
表共同的所有关系
（表示两者共有)
即XX and XX’s的形式
在第二个名词后
加's
Lily and Lucy's room.丽丽和露西的房间
（共同拥有一个房间）
表示分别所有关系
（表示各自拥有）
即XX’s and XX’s的形式
在两个名词词尾
都加’s
Lily’s and Lucy's rooms。丽丽和露西的房间。

无生命名词的所有格
1、无生命名词所有格一般用“of+名词”的结构表示。
如：the gate of the school学校的大门 the door of the classroom教室的门
2、有些表示时间、距离以及国家等无生命的名词，可以在词尾加’s或’
如：a、表时间:today's newspaper （今天的报纸） one night's rest（一晚的休息）
twenty minutes’ walk(无杠名词用复数，作表语）/ twenty—minute’s walk（有杠名词用单数,作定语）(20分钟的散步)
b、表距离:ten miles' distance （十英里的距离）
c、表国家、城市等实体：China’s future （中国的未来）
双重所有格
1：双重所有格由“of+名词所有格”
如：a friend of my father’s 我爸爸的一个朋友
a picture of her sister's 她妹妹的一幅画
2:或“of+名词性物主代词"
如:a friend of mine 我的一个朋友
a book of mine 我的一本书
