教学内容:过去进行时
目标分解:1、理解过去进行时的概念。
2、掌握过去进行时的构成(肯定、否定和疑问)。
3、识记过去进行时的用法。
4、实例操练,学会做题。
教学重点:教会学生掌握过去进行时的概念、用法、构成.
教学难点:过去进行时的构成以及用法。
学情剖析:大部分学生做题时经常遗漏be动词,而且对不同人称be动词过去式的选用没有掌握透彻。
方法选择:课堂提问、小组讨论

教具(实验)准备:举例造句、句型替换、PPT教学

一、 复习
在进入新课之前先回顾一下上节课所学内容-现在进行时。包括现在进行时的构成,用法和现在分词的规则变化。(教师引导学生统一复习)
二、导入
以学生的状态引出这节课的话题。以某某同学上课前正在做什么,然后让学生翻译句子,教师把句子呈现在黑板上。
同学们,我们仔细观察一下黑板上的句子。都是表示学生上课前正在做某事,那么我们称之为……?那么什么是过去进行时?通过这些句子我们来解释一下。
三、新课
1。 现在进行时的定义:表示过去某一时刻或过去一段时间内正在进行的动作,常和表示过去的时间状语连用。
识记表示过去的时间状语:then, at that time, this time yesterday, at ten yesterday等

2。 过去进行时的构成
同学们,那么过去进行时的构成是怎样的呢?
(学生根据现在进行时构成及例句推测过去进行时的结构,顺便复习现在进行时的结构)
例:
肯:She was listening to music then。
她那时正在听音乐。
否:She was not listening to music then.
她那时没在听音乐。
疑:Was she listening to music then?
她那时在听音乐吗?
Yes, she was. / No, she was not。
是的,她在听。/不,她不在听.
构成: 主语 + be(was/were) + 动词的现在分词
肯定形式:主语 + be(was/were) + 动词的现在分词
否定形式:主语+ be(was/were)+ not +动词的现在分词
疑问形式:(Was/Were) + 主语 + 动词的现在分词
肯定回答: Yes, 主语 + was/were。
否定回答: No, 主语 +was/were+ not。
注意:(I, She, He, It, 名词单数)+ was
(You, We, They, 名词复数)+ were
3。 过去进行时的用法
(1) 表示过去某一时刻或过去一段时间内正在进行的动作。
---- what were you doing at that time?
你在做什么?
—--- I was eating.
我正在吃。
He was having a haircut when his mother was out。
当他妈妈离开时,他正在剪头发.
(2) 常和always等频率副词连用,表过去频繁发生的习惯性动作,带有一定感情色彩。
She was always crying。 她总是在哭。
(3) 在以when与while引导的时间状语从句中。
例:
① She was playing games when her father went to
cook this time yesterday.
② His father came back when Jagger was driving
the car。
③ Olivia was looking at me while we were taking a photo.
1)主句动作先于从句动作,
主句:过去进行时;
从句:一般过去时。
2) 从句动作先于主句动作,
主句:一般过去时;
从句:过去进行时。
3)主从句动作无先后关系,
同时使用过去进行时,从句一般由while引导。

解析:本题考查过去进行是的用法。由句意得知“小汤姆正在玩电脑游戏当他妈妈回家的时候。

C。 was listening; watched
D。 was listening; were watching
答案:D
解析:句意-当她的父母在看电视的时候,她正在听英语节目。主句听电视节目与从句看电视同时进行,因此,主从句都用过去进行时。
