二：考点解析
1. 以or为代表的表示选择概念的并列连词，此类并列连词包括or(或者，否则)，either….or….（要么….要么….），otherwise（否则）等。
Eg: Hurry up, or we will be late for the meeting.

2. 以so为代表的表示因果关系的并列连词。此类并列连词包括so, for 等。
Eg: She likes to play football, so she spends too much time on it.

3. 句型特点：简单句+并列连词+简单句
以and为代表的表示意义延伸的并列连词，此类并列连词包括and, not only….but also…., and then（那么）等。
Eg: He is not only an actor but also a famous writer.

4. 以but为代表的表示转折关系的并列连词，此类并列连词宝库偶but, while(而)，yet(然而), however(然而)等。
Eg: He has a high IQ. However, he didn’t pass the examination.

Mr. Jenkins is a farmer. One day he drives his truck to town and on the way his truck knocked down a boy and hurt（弄伤） him.
