6、lly.ZY: Why is listening so important?HX: Well, you have to listen for detailed facts. Meanwhile you have to prepare the next question depending on what the person says.ZY: But how can I listen carefully while taking notes?HX: This is a trick of the trade. If the interviewee agrees, you can use a re
7、corder to get the facts straight. Its also useful if a person wants to challenge you. You have the evidence to support your story.ZY: I see! Have you ever had a case where someone accused your journalists of getting the wrong end of the stick?HX: Yes, but it was a long time ago. This is how the stor
8、y goes. A footballer was accused of taking money for deliberately not scoring goals so as to let the other team win. We went to interview him. He denied taking money but we were skeptical. So we arranged an interview between the footballer and the man supposed to bribe him. When we saw them together
9、 we guessed from the footballers body language that he was not telling the truth. So we wrote an article suggesting he was guilty. It was a dilemma because the footballer could have demanded damages if we were wrong. He tried to stop us publishing it but later we were proved right. ZY: Wow! That was
10、 a real “scoop”. Im looking forward to my first assignment now. Perhaps Ill get a scoop too!HX: Perhaps you will. You never know. GETTING THE “SCOOP”“quick,” said the editor. “Get that story ready. We need it in this edition to be ahead of the other newspapers. This is a scoop.” Zou Yang had just co
11、me back into the office after an interview with a famous film star. “Did he really do that?” asked someone from the International News Department. “Yes, Im afraid he did,” Zhou Yang answered. 18、ST AID FOR BURNSThe skin is an essential part of your body and its largest organ. You have three layers of skin which act as a barrier against disease, poisons and the suns harmful rays. The functions of your skin are also very complex: it keeps you warm or cool; it prevents your body from losing to
19、o much water; it is where you feel cold, heat or pain and it gives you your sense of touch. So as you can imagine, if your skin gets burned it can be very serious. First aid is a very important first step in the treatment of burns.Causes of burnsYou can get burned by a variety of things: hot liquids
20、, steam, fire, radiation (by being close to high heat or fire, etc), the sun, electricity or chemicals.Types of burnsThere are three types of burns. Burns are called first, second, or third degree burns, depending on which layers of the skin are burned.First degree burns These affect only the top la
21、yer of the skin. These burns are not serious and should feel better within a day or two. Examples include mild sunburn and burns caused by touching a hot pan, stove or iron for a moment.Second degree burns These affect both the top and the second layer of the skin. These burns are serious and take a
22、 few weeks to heal. Examples include severe sunburn and burns caused by hot liquids.Third degree burns These affect all three layers of the skin and any tissue and organs under the skin. Examples include burns caused by electric shocks, burning clothes, or severe petrol fires. These burns cause very

Take off other clothing and jewelry near the burn.Cool burns immediately with coo
25、l but not icy water. It is best to place burns under gently running water for about 10 minutes. (The cool water stops the burning process, prevents the pain becoming unbearable and reduces swelling.) Do not put cold water on third degree burns.For first degree burns, place cool, clean, wet cloths on
26、 them until the pain is not so bad. For second degree burns, keep cloths cool by putting them back in a basin of cold water, squeezing them out and placing them on the burned area over and over again for about an hour until the pain is not so bad.Dry the burned area gently. Do not rub, as this may b
27、reak any blisters and the wound may get infected. Cover the burned area with a dry, clean bandage that will not stick to the skin. Hold the bandage in place with tape. Never put butter, oil or ointment on burns as they keep the heat in the wounds and may cause infection.If burns are on arms or legs,

If burns are on the face, the victim should sit up.If the injuries are second or third degree burns, it is vital to get the victim to the doctor or hospital at once. 37、发展不仅可以节约粮食,同时可使多种饲料来源得以开发利用,这在一定程度上也可弥补粮食资源不足。饲料工业的发展,促进了广大农民致富,使用配合饲料可加快畜禽生长,通常一吨配合饲料可为养殖业创收100-200元。改革开放20多年来,我国的粮食产量从1978年的3.5亿吨发展到2006年6.5亿吨,13亿中国人的温饱问题基本得到解决。与此同时,畜牧业以年平均9.9%的速度增长,在农村第一产业中占比重逐年提高。种植业的大发展为饲料工业的发展提供了原料,奠定了物质基础,人民生活水平的提高,养殖业的发展,为饲料工业提供了广阔的市场,形成了更大的市场拉力。2005年全国饲料总产量达1.07亿吨,配合饲料产量达6
38、822多万吨,时产5吨以上的饲料加工厂已达1937家,比较完整的饲料工业体系已经形成。我国仅用而是几年就走完了西方经济发展国家近百年的饲料工业历程。饲料工业的发展,又促进了农业和农村经济的发展,支持了“菜篮子”工程建设。自八十年代以来,在粮食总产年均递增0.89%的情况下,肉、蛋、奶和养殖业的年递增均在10%左右。城乡居民蛋白食物人均占有量已超过世界平均水平。这一成果的取得,在很大程度上有XXX于饲料工业的强大支持。改革开放20多年来,我国人民的生活水平有了很大程度的提高,膳食结构也有了很大的改善,但跟发达国家相比,还有很大差距,我国人均肉、蛋、奶的消费量不及发达国家的1/4,而人民生活水平的

41、新建厂的年生产量及产品方案,各原料的配方比例,并考虑到2%的原料损耗,各种原料的年耗量见附表12-2-1.(2) 原料的来源我国饲料原料来源广泛,资源丰富。全国每年可提供8000万吨以上的玉米、5000万吨以上的糠麸、2000万吨以上的糟渣和近3000万吨的薯类资源,还有各类饼粕约1500万吨以上。除少量添加剂原料需进口外,绝大多数原料国内均能满足。 国家饲料工业办在19962020年中国饲料工业发展战略研究中提出在东北、华北等地建立玉米、大豆生产基地;建立40个玉米基地县,20个大豆基地县,25个棉、菜籽生产基地县,为发展工业饲料,发展养殖业提供了原料保障。 我国进入WTO后,我国已向欧美发
