一、一般过去时的用法：
1、表示在的过去某个时间里所发生的动作或存在的状态。
时间状语有：yesterday, last week, an hour ago, in 1982等。 如：
I was at the zoo yesterday. 昨天我在动物园。
2、表示在过去一段时间内，经常性或习惯性的动作。
When I was a child, I often played football in the street. 我在小的时候，我经常在街道上踢足球
二、现在进行时的用法：
1、表示说话时正在进行的动作
Look！A train is coming.看！火车来了
2、表示现阶段正在进行着的动作
What lesson are you studying this week？你们本周学哪一课了？
3、现在进行时有时可用来表示一个在最近按计划或安排要进行的动作
Are you going to Tianjing tomorrow？你明天去天津吗？
三、一般现在时用法：
1、表示经常的或习惯性的动作，常与表示频度的副词连用。常用的频度副词有： always、often、 usually、seldom、never。频度副词在句中通常放在行为动词之前，系动词、助动词之后。
He often goes swimming in summer.他夏天经常游泳。
2、表示现在的状态。
My father is at work.He is very busy. 我父亲在工作，他很忙。
3、表示主语具备的性格、特征和能力等。
All my family love football .我全家人都喜欢足球
4、表示客观真理，客观存在，自然现象。
