备课人: 执教: 教学内容 Lesson 8Thanksgiving Day 课时安排 3 教 学 目 标 (包括知识与能力;过程与方法;情感态度与价值观) 1. 学生通过对与感恩节和中秋节相关单词的学习,了解两个节日的特点。 2. 掌握the的特指用法。 3. 通过范例,了解英文地名的首字母应大写。 4. 学习对话,熟悉电子邮件的基本格式,培养学生的听力及表达能力; 能将中西方的节日文化进行比较。 5.能够熟练拼读与字母组合”or/oor”,”al”, “au” 和“aw”相关的单词,扩大词汇量。 重 难 点 1. 本课单词的正确发音和拼读。 2. 熟练的使用the的特指用法。 3. 能将中西方文化进行比较。 4. 掌握地名的写法。 教学准 备 本课相关单词卡片、市场或商店的挂图、小诗挂图,录音机等。 教 学 过 程 第一课时 Step1 1. 师生常规问候。 2. 值日生做duty report. 3. 检查、订正上节课作业。 Step 2 Listen and practice. 1. 引入新单词。 T:In the last lesson, which festival have we learned? Ps:Halloween. T: Good! In this lesson we are going to lern another important festival—Thanksgiving Day. On this day, families always get together to have a rich dinner. Now, here is a market. (在黑板上贴一副市场图,上面有fruit, cake, cheese, dairy, pumpkin, tukey, sweet potato, corn等)If we are going to celebrate Thamksgiving Day, what shall we buy? Ps:…(如玉新单词,可用中文) T:Good! Some of your choices are right. At first, we will buy this one. This is not chicken. It is very big and very popular in the USA .Tt’s … Ps: 火鸡。 T:We call it turkey. Ps: Turkey. T: Then we buy this one. In Chinese it is called…. Ps:红薯。 T:Yes. In English we call it sweet potato. What is potato? Ps:土豆。 T: So the sweet potato is not a potato, clear? Ps: Yes. T:Good! Now read after me. Sweet potato. Ps:…. T: Then we hoose this. Ps: 玉米。 T:It’s corn. Ps: Corn. T: At last, we buy….(指向pumpkin) Ps: Pumpkin. T: Yes. We make pumpkin pie.(出示pie的图片) Pie. Ps: Pie. Ps: Apple pie, strawbeyy pie…. 2. 巩固新单词。 1) 教师随意指图画,学生读出单词。 2) 将全班分成几个小组,给每个小组的第一名学生几张卡片(3—4张,其中含2—3个新单词),让他们记住后告诉第二个人并一直传下去,最后一名学生站起来大声说出单词,同时,由第一名学生出示卡片,看是否正确。 Step3 Work in pairs. 1. 引入the 的特指用法。 T;(在黑板上贴一张rooster的图片)Boys and girls, what’s this in English? Why? Can you guess? Ps: …. T: Yes. You’re so clever. 因为我们在前一句中已提到了”rooster”和“ mooncake”, 所以以后再提及,就用冠词”the”, 而不是 “a”. I will shou you two more pictures, please make up sentences like this.(出示两幅图及对应的形容词,请两名学生造句,提醒他们用“That is…” “Those are…”然后全班复述) 2.练习the的特指用法。 1)将全班分为两组,教师通过图片和手势来带领两组学生描述图片,单词的单、复数形式均要涉及。 T:Now let’s describe the pictures. (拿远一点,用“That is …”) 2) 在黑板上多贴几张单词卡片,请学生两人一组描述。 3) 将全班分成四个小组,每一小组选一名组长。由组长出示图片,组员依照以上例子轮流说一句话描述图片,每幅图片只用两句话,说错的同学由下一位纠正。在一分钟内描述图片最多的小组获胜。 Step 4 Learn to write. 1. 请学生在黑板上写几个地名,其他学生判断书写是否正确。 T:In the last lesson, we learned that we should use capital letters with…. I’ll ask somn of you to write a name of a place on blackboard. 2. 得出结论:地名首字母应大写。 3. 学生做练习,教师订正答案。 4. 完成workbook 中的Read, correct and copy. Step 2 Play a game. 1. 教师拿一副画有flower 的图,全班用尽可能多的句子进行描述。 T:Hereis a flower is beautiful.P1, what do you think of the flower? P1: The flower is beautiful. T: Good! How about you ? P2: The flower is red. 2. 四人一组,轮流描述一张卡片。 所有人都描述完后再开始描述第二张。限时,看哪组描述的卡片最多,就是获胜组,然后请该组上台表演。 Step3 Listen and pracitse. T: (在黑板上画一方框)Kids, can you guess what I am going to draw? Ps: Book/ Notebook…. Step 6 1. 小结本课内容。 2. 布置家庭作业。 与家长一起回忆今年中秋节是如何度过的,尝试用英文描述。 3.与学生道别。 作业 布置 板 书 设 计 课 后 反 思 说明:(请大家仔细阅读) 1数学为一个模版一课时,语文为一个模版一篇课文,但必须分课时备。 2每个单元教学前以文档形式进行单元分析。(分析教材、学情、课时安排、单元目标、重难点等) 教 学 过 程 第三课时 Step1 1. 师生常规问候。 2. 值日生作duty report. 3. 请学生们讲述他们今年的中秋节是如何度过的,如有困难,个别地方可用中文表达。 Step2 Listen and practice 1. 引入新单词。 T: Kids, we have learned something about American market. Right? Ps: Yes. T: Today we’re going to see the market in China . Look here ! (其中包括fruits, vegetables…) What can you see? Ps: …. T: Good ! We also have sweet potatoes and corns. And these are some vegetables. What’s this in Chinese? Ps: 卷心菜。 T:In English we call it cabbage. Cabbage. Ps: Cabbage. T; Now read after me, cabbage. Ps: …. 用同样的方法教学单词lettuce. 2. 巩固新单词。 1) 在黑板上贴出多种食物的图片(包括本课所学的),请学生分别找出西方特有的、中国特有的和中西方共有的食物。 2) 记忆游戏:全班分为两组,轮流发言,第二组需在重复第一组佐说内容的基础上增添一个新词,如: G1: We like corn. G2: We like corn and turkey. G3: We like corn, turkey and pumpkin pie. 3. 完成Workbook 中的Lishten and number. Step 3 Listen and write. 1. 学生看图猜主题。 2. 教师一边读小诗一遍画画,帮助学生了解小诗大意。 3. 学生跟读,教师解读。 T: Well done! Now let’s make a little change. Can we use another word for “ merrily” ? Ps: Look at that boy in the picture. He is merrily smiling. Then look at me, I am sadly smiling.( 通过表情变化帮助学生理解) So merrily means…. Ps: Happily. T: Clever! Then how about the last line “ enjoy the night”? What do you do to enjoy the night? T: We have talked so much about Mid-autumn Festival. Now boys and girls , look at this picture. Can you guess what the picture is ? Is it a card? Ps: Birthday card, post card…. T:Can it be an ad?会不会是一则广告呢? PS: Yes. T: I think so. If it is an ad, what’s it about ? What does the girl want? Ps: Meat, egg…. T: Now you can have a discussion in pairs:What does the girl want and why? (参与学生讨论,可适当给出提示) T: P1, can you tell me your guess? P1: She wants moon cakes. T: Why? P1: It’s always the best. T: Class, do you agree with him /her? Ps:Yes. T: I agree with you too. And what do the moon cakes have? Ps: Meat, egg, nuts and fruits. T: Great ! Do you like this ad? Ps: Yes. T: OK! After class I’d like you to design your ad for moon cakes, and show it to us next time, will you ? Ps: Yes.
