In recent years, several earthquakes occurred in China, bringing a lot of harm. The country and people have suffered a lot, Nature shows no mercy, humans can not resist, but we can learn from the experience and lessons learned, and to strengthen prevention to mitigate the damage of natural disasters on us.
教学流程
Step 1 Greetings
Ss: Good morning, Miss Xu.
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Sit down, please.
Step 2 Lead—in
Show some pictures about the ruins of houses in the earthquakes. Have Ss look at them and think.
T: Now, please look at some pictures about destroyed houses in the earthquakes, then discuss how to build a safe home in groups.
Step 3 Show the teaching aims.

Step 4 Teaching
Ask Ss to understand the text one pair by one. Student A reads one sentence, student B translates it. Teacher explains the difficult sentences to the students.
Step 5 Finish task.
Task one: Finish some sentences according to the text, using who(m)、which、that or whose.
1. Review some information about “The Attributive Clause”.
2. Ask Ss to finish Ex1.
3. Check the answers.
Task two: Find out and memorize the phrases.
