5. Hundreds of pilgrims come here to venerate her relics. Saint Catherine was revered for her wisdom and her learning, and she is the patron saint for students and for universities.
6. On the ceiling beams and on the door are images of paradise. Plants and animals cavorting.
7. This dates from the time when this was a fortress, and it was part of the defence mechanism.
