(2)through desk-mate communication coordination,students' team consciousness, cooperation ability was improved. 3.Emotional attitude values: (1)students fall in love with English class activities (2)Imagining the future life ambitions. Teaching contents: 1.vocabulary of jobs, transportation and places to live. 2.i will... Teaching aids: tapes, blackboard, ppt, pictures, tape of lesson:speaking, vocabulary, grammar teaching procedures: step1.leading in(5mins) 1.greeting:good morning boys and girls, how are you today? Ok, let us begin our class. 2.show some pictures of jobs, transportation and places to live. Question:do you know what the picture is? Can you distinguish them?(students answer) step 2 1a(5mins) look at page4, sectionB 1a. 1.Look at the form and read the headings to the class .Make sure the Ss know what they mean. 2.learn the seven new words of 1a. 3.Write each word in the correct column .Check the answers. Step 3 1b(3mins) 1.Read the words already written on the chart . 2.Group-work: Think about what we learned before .write some words in the chart above .Divide the class into groups of four ,let them have a competition. Step 4 2a(7mins) 1.understand the mean of the question and know we will listen a conversation. 2.look at the 3 pictures and guess what the conversation talk about. 3.play the tapes twice and check students’ answer. Step 5 2b(4mins) 1.we know the conversation is talking about Alexis ten yeas ago ,now and in ten yeas. Play the tapes again. 2.pay attention to the sentences and verbs. 3.check the answer in time. Step 5 2c(4mins) 1. read the instructions. 2.work in groups,one is Alexis , one is joe. 3.Point out the example in the sample dialogue .Read it to the Ss . 4.Talk about Joe’s life now , ten years ago and in ten years. 5.volunteers to present. Step 6 3a(12mins) 1.learn some new words of this passage and practice reading. 2.give the students 3 mins to skim the passage. 3.Point out the chart .Read the column headings to the class . 4.read the passage again and finish the form, check the answers in time. 5.practice the new words and phrase such as “as a reporter”. “fall in love with”, “lots of”, alone”, “keep a pet”, “i will”, “dress up”, “dress in”etc. 6.practice reading. Step 7 3b play a guessing games.(5mins) 1.students write about their life in ten yeas ,but do not write their name on the paper. 2.put all the students’ papers together. 3.take turns reading the papers and guess who wrote them. Homework: 1.Go over the new words in this unit. 2.write a article about “what will your life be like in ten yeas?”
