Language points
1. elder adj.&n. 年纪较长的；年长者
辨析elder与older的用法区别：
(1). elder和older都是old的比较级，意思都是“岁数较大、年龄较长”，但用法有些区别。
elder只用于人，多指兄弟姐妹之间年龄长幼中的“长”，只用作定语，不用作表语，也不能与than连用。
A lot of elder people don’t like pop music. 许多年纪大的人不喜欢流行音乐。
older可用于人或物，用于人时，指实际年龄大小中的“大”；用于物，意为“较旧的”，既可用定语、表语，也可与than连用。
I am two years older than my brother. 我比我弟弟大两岁。
(2). elder还可用作名词，单数指两人中年龄较大的人，复数泛指“长辈”，而older没有这种用法。
He is the elder of the two brothers. 两兄弟中他是老大。
Children should respect their elders. 孩子们应该尊敬长辈。

2.That sounds a good idea.那听起来不错。
sound作为动词，意思为“听起来，听上去”。常用作连系动词，后面接形容词做表语。
The news sounds good. 这个消息听起来不错。
