Read this article which appeared in the Southwood School magazine. It is about school rules.,
Every school has a set of school rules. This is a list of some of the important rules at Southwood School. It is particularly important that new students read this, so that they understand how they must behave.
Uniform
Always wear the school uniform. You should have clean shoes, a clean shoes, a clean white shirt and wear the school jacket, trousers and tie. You must also bring your books and lunch box in the official school bag. You must not make any excuse for not wearing the correct uniform. You should remember that you are representing Southwood, so you should be on your best behavior when travelling to and from school.
Homework
You must always do your homework. It is acceptable for you to ask your parents to help you with the work at home. Students who do very good work will receive special stars in their books.
Sports
You should always try your best in sports and games. It is important for every student to have a healthy body. You will quickly find out which sports suit you best, and if you are interested and good enough, you may join the school teams. If you are good at football, you should join the football club. If you are good at athletics, you should join the athletics club. All teams practice twice a week and you will be expected to take part in every practice.
Teachers
You should respect your teachers and obey them at all times. They are your superiors, Speak to them when they ask you a question or call your name. In class, sit up straight, pay attention and do not chat. Work diligently at your studies.
If you follow these simple rules, you will be a credit to your school and to your parents.
