head the bill= top the bill 领衔主演，挂头牌
Part 2. Grammar
l 现在完成时： 主语+have/has done sth.
l 过去完成时：主语+had done sth.
l have = own= possess= have/has got 拥有
Eg. She has/owns/possesses a house.
l have 替代其他动词
have/take a bath 洗澡
take a biscuit= have a biscuit 吃饼干
enjoy oneself = have a good time
receive a letter= have a letter 收到一封信
l have 的含义
1) 吃
Eg. have lunch/ supper
2) 喝
Eg. have a cup of coffee 喝一杯咖啡
3）患病，得病
Eg. have a fever/ cold / headache
4) 有
Eg. have a book
5) have to do sth 不得不做某事
6） have sb to do sth 让某人做某事
* have sht= have got sht 拥有某物
have to do sth= have got to do sth 不得不做某事

1. I had left it on a chair beside the door and now it wasn’t there.
* leave—left—left
1) v. 把sb/sth 留下，遗忘，丢下
==leave sb/sth+ 地点 把某人/某物 留/忘在某地
2） 使……处于某种状态
===leave sth+ adj (做宾补)
Eg. Don’t leave the door open.
3) 离开
==leave sp 离开某地
===leave for sp 前往某地
4）on leave 休假中
* beside 在……旁边
besides 另外，除……之外
l be beside oneself （乐极）忘形，发狂
l beside the point 跑题，离题
2. As I was looking for it, the landlord came in.
* as 当……时候=when
Eg. As I was sleeping , my son came in.
l While 当……时候 （前后都是进行时）
Eg. While she was cooking , he was watching TV.
3. In a few minutes he returned with my bag and gave it back to me.
