一、教学内容
本课的授课内容是人教新版(精通)英语六年级下册Unit 3 We are going to travel. Lesson 13 Just read and talk 本单元的主题是旅游。本课的话题是Lily’s family’s travel plan to China。本课时会话的情境是美国女孩儿Lily与大家分享她的家庭旅行计划。Lily全家计划暑假来中国旅行两周,第一周游览北京、哈尔滨、西安,第二周游览上海、杭州、三亚。Lily请大家给她介绍更多有关哈尔滨、西安、三亚和其他地方的信息。通过对话,使学生理解、认读、恰当运用目标语言进行关于旅行计划这一话题的交流。
二、学情分析
1.认知特点:本课的教学对象为小学六年级学生,该年级学生已有近两年的英语学习经历,具备初步的听、说、读、写能力,他们的自主学习能力和合作探究的习惯已基本形成。
2.知识储备:在学习本课之前学生已经了解有关旅游话题的相关信息,并能简单地描述中国著名景点有关的英语表达,因此本课的词汇和句式是在前面所学基础上的延伸,这些学生已知的语言知识可以在本次教学中起到以旧带新的作用。
三、教学目标
1.主要目标语言:
We’re going to travel around China during the summer holidays.
We’re going to visit Beijing, Harbin and Xi’an
2.能力目标:
(1)能够对旅游计划和活动进行简单的描述,并能在语境中运用所学句型和短语。
(2)能够借助录音、图片理解有关旅游话题的语言知识,培养阅读兴趣、在阅读中获取信息、处理信息的能力。
3.情感目标: 激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生小组合作意识,在合作中学习,在学习中合作。
四、教学重难点
1.教学重点:
We’re going to travel around China during the summer holidays.
2.教学难点:
能够灵活运用所学语言描述有关旅游计划话题的信息和活动。
五、教学准备
1. 准备音频、教学课件。
2. 准备中国地图,北京、哈尔滨、西安、杭州、三亚的主要景点的图片,作为介绍旅行计划的辅助材料。
3. 准备2〜3张写好的travel plan cards,作为学生拓展阅读的材料和写作的范例。拼图
六、设计思路及理念
《英语课程标准》强调从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作、与交流的学习方式,并提出开发课程资源、拓展学用渠道的语言教学理念。根据以上教学理念,在教学环节中,教师将充分利用多媒体资源,以学生为主体,选择适当的教学方式和方法,充分调动所有学生的积极性,鼓励他们大胆说、积极做,让学生感受语言学习的快乐和意义,促进学生整体的人文素养的提高。
七、教学过程
Step 1 Warm up
1.Greetings
How are you today? How’s the weather like today? What season is it now? ……
I think it’s a good time to go out and play. So today’s topic is about travelling. We are going to travel.
2.Ask some questions.Do you like traveling? Where have you been before? And enjoy some beautiful pictures about the famous places.
【设计意图】《英语课程标准》指出,学生的发展是英语课程的出发点和归宿。提倡教师培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新精神。此环节通过师生交流,引出主题,同时发挥学生的主体意识,发展了学生的思维,也唤醒了学生原有的语言知识,激发起学习的兴趣,为下面的环节做铺垫。
Step 2 Presentation
1.Tell the students something about my travel experience.
2.You all like travelling. Our friend also likes travelling. Look , this is Lily. She is an American girl. She is going to travel around China with her family.
Let’s listen. And tell me where they are going to visit. (第一遍听得知答案)
Ss:They are going to visit Beijing, Harbin ,Xi’an ,Shanghai ,Hangzhou and Sanya.
T: Right. Now Open your books and read the text in a low voice, then answer the two questions.
(1)What’s Lily’s family’s travel plan?
(2)How long are they going to stay in China?
3.Where are they going to visit in the first week and the second week? Please read aloud and fill in the blanks, (第二次读,找出答案) …
What do you know about the Great Wall?
S1: The Great Wall is in Beijing. S2: It’s the longest wall in the world.
T: How long is the Great Wall? Do you know? OK ,Let me tell you . The Great Wall is more than 4500 miles long. It is one of the wonders in the world. Look at this! And there is a proverb said: He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man. Have you heard? What does it mean?” 不到长城非好汉。
4.Look!Lily is going to visit many other places. Please open your books ,Let’s listen and number

S1:Beijing. Beijing is the capital of China. It’s in the north of China.
S2:Harbin is in the north of China. It is in Heilongjiang Province.
S3:Xi’an is in Shaanxi Province. It is in the middle of China.
S4:Hangzhou is in Zhejiang Province. It’s in the east of China .
S5:Sanya is in the south of China. It is in Hainan Province.
S6: Shanghai is in the east of China . It’s in the east of China.

T: The terracotta army is so great. We know a lot about the history of China.
【设计意图】学习本课新单词和句型前,学生先观看13课的课文光盘,让学生自然感知和理解新语言知识,这样的整体语言输入,有利于较好的完成本课的语言运用目标,培养学生的综合语言运用能力。同时把主动权交给学生,教师只是起到引导的作用,充分调动所有学生的积极性,使他们保持学习英语的信心,体验学习英语的乐趣。

【设计意图】《英语课程标准》强调从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式,并提出开发课程资源、拓展学用渠道的语言教学理念。根据这个理念,教师充分利用多媒体资源,展示了自制的视频短片,为学生展现了一幅幅生动精彩的画面,使得原本抽象化的知识变得更加鲜活和具体,提高了课堂效率,激发了学生的学习兴趣。本环节通过学生们的个人发言和小组交流,培养他们合作、探究、应用的能力。通过整个过程的设计力图体现“为用而学,在用中学,学了就用”的设计目的,使本课知识得到了升华。

We know travelling can make us healthy. travelling can make us wise. travelling can make us happy every day.读万卷书 行万里路 Read thousands of books, travel thousands of miles. Reading and traveling are all very important to us. Just remember and enjoy it.
【设计意图】本环节的设计,拓展了学生的视野。 语言操练以文本形式出现,旨在继续让学生感知新目标语、紧扣主题,通过对短文的分层教学,让学生带着问题去阅读、思考,培养了学生的阅读策略。再次阅读文本,学生以小组合作形式来阅读文本,体现了合作学习的重要性,通过学生之间的督促和帮助,同学们可以更好地掌握文本,激发了学生们的学习兴趣。

【设计意图】作业的布置力求满足不同层次、不同特点学生的学习要求,形成对课堂教学的延展和学生的再学习。给学生提供一张信息表,让学生在真实的情景中使用自己已经学到的知识,学生在活动过程中不断的问或被问,不断的运用所学的句型,学以致用。
课后反思:
本节课是人教出版社精通版六年级下第三单元的教材,本次授课内容是第13课。第13课是单元的起始课,主要围绕Lily的travel plan展开。课题类型为新授课。 授课过程中,情境的创设一直是以帮助Lily做好travel plan和给予建议而开展的,在引课阶段利用介绍新朋友,看小伙伴的建议为切入点,吸引学生的注意力为随后的课程开展做以很好的铺垫。 本次授课中做的较好的方面: 1、能做好情境创设,让学生在真实的语言环境中开展学习和操练英语课程标准指出:“要让学生在真实的情境中体验和学习语言。”本节课我以Traveling作为谈话切入点:Do you like traveling? I like traveling very much.During Winter holidays I went to Shanghai,Nanjing and Hangzhou. And I’m going to Harbin during summer holidays. Do you Know the cities? 我以自己真实生活为例,用学生熟悉的语言引起学生共鸣,并为下面城市教学做好铺垫。只有当所创设的情境与学生的生活经验相符合时,才能激起学生的生活体验,使他们从各自的生活背景出发,迅速投入到所创设的情境中,准确地体验和理解语言。。2、课程中的衔接语过渡自然,始终围绕着情境并为后面的环节做好铺垫。 3、问题的创设均能围绕本课目标语言并始终为完成目标进行操练。并注意设计与学生实际能力相符的教学活动,使全体学生都能积极踊跃的参与到课堂中来。4、课堂中采用小组活动教学。英语的小组学习活动能够调动了学生学习英语的积极性和培养他们竞争意识,发挥互助精神,培养参与意识,进而增强集体的荣誉感。我在操练环节中始终以先总后分,先大组后小组,再个人的方式,避免的学生出现学习的畏惧心理。在授课过程中注意对学生的激励和表扬,评价机制贯穿始终。
