1、climb a hill 爬山
2、need做实义动词,表示需要,后可跟不定式、名词或代词做宾语,表示主动含义
need to do sth 需要做某事
当物做主语,need后接动名词做宾语,表示被动含义,相当于need to be done
This car needs repairing. 这辆车需要(被)修理
need做情态动词,没有人称、时态及数的变化,后接动词原形,常用于疑问句及否定句中
You needn’t worry about it. 不用担心
3、keep fit 保持身体健康
You need to exercise and keep fit.
4、come on 来吧,快点儿,表示催促
Come on!The bus is leaving. 快点儿,公车就要开走了。
come on 还可以表示挑战、命令、恳求、激励别人、给别人助威等

以上三种表达,当后面接home,there,here等副词时,不需要加介词,arrive home,get home
reach 及物动词,直接加宾语,一般后面不接地点副词

3)做表语
The man in the story is himself.

43、pull up 往高处攀登,拔起来,费力地站起来
