Unit One What can you do
活动目标
Let’s learn, Let’s sing, Let’s chant
活动内容:
Activity1: Let the children learn the phrases as chunks, then ask them to identify the words. Since all the new words and phrases are about actions, we can employ TPR. At last, chant it.
Activity2:Encourage the fast learners to create their own verbs for the song, e.g. Then do Ex2. in the Activity Book can be added to this section.
Activity3: The teacher may do some activities for the children to practice the key structure “ I can … I can’t…
活动评价:All the children can do the corresponding actions when they hear the eight verbs or verbs.

活动目标
Let’s play; Let’s Talk; Story time
活动内容:
Activity1: Instead of clarifying the rules, the teacher may ask the children to compete with each other and see which group observes the rules best.
Activity2: Ask the children what moral lessons they learned from this part. Allow them to express their ideas in Chinese.
Activity3: Ask the children to look at the series of pictures in the story and guess what happens in them.
活动评价:The children can tell what happens in the story (in Chinese)

Unit Two What’s for dinner
活动目标
Let’s learn, Let’s sing, Let’s play
活动内容:
Activity1: Give the children time to tell you or tell each other what food they like and dislike. Thus to stimulate their interest in English and to develop their confidence as English users.
Activity2: The children can do some practice on the words, e.g. listen and point, listen and show, look and say and games like “What’s missing〞 etc.
Activity3: Use a clock to show the different times for the three meals. Encourage the children to create a new version for the song.
活动评价:Most the children can say the words when they see the pictures of the food mentioned above.

Activity1: 1.Let the children listen to the tape recorder.
2.Help the children recall the chunk.

Activity2: 1.Since the children have an instinct of going for meaning. provide them opportunities to go straight for the meaning.
2.Ex.4 in activity book can be added to this section.

活动内容:
Activity1: Play the tape-recording or VCD of the song either at the very beginning or at the end of a lesson throughout the whole unit.
Activity2:1. Set up a situation to present the clothing.
2.Say the new words and point to the corresponding pictures.
3.Play the game.
Activity3: Practise the vocabulary
Activity4: Sing the song “ My Clothes〞
Activity5: Let’s play for consolidate the new materials.

Activity1: 1. Play some TPR game to revise propositions taught in
Book 2.
2.Ask the children bring in some boxes.
3.Learing the chant.
Activity2: Get the children to listen to and repeat the dialogue after you or the tape the VCD
Activity3: Show the children the pictures of the story and tell the story. Ask the children to listen carefully and point out which picture you are talking about.

Activity1: Talk with the children abort what they usually do in a day. Show the children what you usually do in a day with actions. Repeat the actions and say the English.
Activity2: Listen to the song and ask the children to do the corresponding actions when listening to or singing the song.
Activity3: In order to consolidate the new vocabulary and challenge the children.

活动评价:The pupils are able to understand the plot of the dialogue and make use of the opportunities to learn English in the classroom.
