What a great community!

I live in a great community (社区). There is a bookstore next to my house. I can buy and read many books here. Dongfang Street is behind it. Go straight down Dongfang Street and turn left at the post office, you can see a hospital. It’s a tall building. And my father works there. The nature park is on the hospital’s right . It’s beautiful . In the morning we can do the morning exercises here. And go for a walk in the evening. I love my community!

The new school term begins .Welcome back to school. My home is near the school , so I come to school on foot. Amy often comes to school by bike, but she comes to school by car today . Wu Yifan’s home is far from the school. He comes to school by bus . Mr Jones comes to school from the USA. He comes by plane. Zhang Peng lives in a small village. He comes by train . John is from Canada. He lives in Beijing now. He comes by subway .We are happy to see our classmates and teachers!

My weekend plan

Hi, I’m Chen Jie. I’m going to have a busy weekend! On Saturday morning, I’m going to the bookstore by taxi. I’m going to buy a new comic book, a dictionary and some story books. In the afternoon，I’m going to go home and read the new books. On Sunday morning, I’m going to play football with my friends. In the afternoon, I’m going to visit my grandma. We are going to have a big dinner in the evening. I think I will have a nice weekend.

His parents are very kind.They love China.They are coming to China next week.I am very happy.

How do you feel today?

Today is Chen Jie’s birthday. We are going to have a birthday party at her home. I’m so happy, because we’re good friends. I buy a toy bear for her. Amy is very excited, because she will come by plane with Sarah. But how about Mike? He is so sad, because he hurts his leg. He can’t come to Chenjie’s birthday party. We are afraid of him. And Zhang Peng? He is very angry, because his cat, mimi, broke his glass flower, his birthday gift.
