Last Saturday morning, I got up early and planned to search for information for my investigative study in the library.
I caught the first bus. There were only several people aboard and I was pleased to have a vacant seat. However, the bus got more and more crowded after a few stops. I found an old man standing beside me and I gave up my seat to him without hesitation. When I got off the bus, I saw a blind man waiting to cross the street, I immediately gave him a hand. At last, I arrived at the library and seeked out the information I needed.
I think we should spend our time meaningfully and do what we can when someone needs help.

Last Friday，
Dear Sir or Madam,
I feel very excited to know that the exchange students from Saint Gorge High School will come and study at our school. I would like to be a host family. The reasons are as follows:
First, my home is big with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. This makes it possible for me to provide the exchange student with good living accommodations. Moreover, I have a good command of English and I am good at listening and speaking. I would be able to communicate with the student easily. In addition, I have a good understanding of British customs and culture, allowing us to have a lot to talk about.
Because of the above mentioned reasons I am applying to be a host family. I sincerely hope I will be granted this great opportunity.

Last Friday, a chance encounter changed me and my family's life greatly.
After school, I was about to enter my apartment building when a little dirty dog, lying beside the dustbin, caught my eye. He looked extremely weak. Immediately the homeless dog filled me with sympathy. So I bent down and held him in my arms. I rushed him upstairs and right away fixed him some food. Then, I gave him a bath. After the bath he looked energetic and refreshed. What a lovely dog!
When my parents got home, I asked if I could keep the dog. To my surprise and happiness, they agreed. From that day, he has become a member of our family. Everyone has enjoyed his company. My parents walk him often. He and I play joyfully.
Looking at the cute, happy dog today. I realize that I did the fight thing. I brought him to a warm, loving home and he has brought us great happiness and laughter.

So I invited Lele to my home and seated him in front of the desk where he soon started to do his homework. Meanwhile, I called his mother and told her what happened.
Before long, Lele finished all the homework. Since it was still early, I decided to play Chinese chess with him so that he wouldn’t feel bored. Lele was very concentrated and he thought very hard before making any move.
Just when we finished playing the game, the doorbell rang. It was Lele’s mother. She thanked me again and again for taking care of her son. Lele said he had had a most enjoyable afternoon. Actually, that makes the two of us.

We hope that Dorian can understand our love and become optimistic. In the evening, we sent him the photos along with our regards. Last Saturday, when I got home after school, I happened to see my grandparents looking at the photos of my aunt, who is now living abroad. I realized that they were missing her. Back at home from the store, I taught my grandparents how to use the Pad step by step. Soon, they learnt how to get online and talked with my aunt that evening. Seeing my grandparents and my aunt chat happily online, both my parents and I felt a sense of contentment.

Saturday, May 3                                                           Fine This morning, I was jogging in the park when I caught sight of a wallet on a bench. Clearly, someone had left it there by accident. I picked it up and checked the contents. Inside it, I found some money and a card with a phone number. Believing that the owner would be worried, I immediately tried the number. A man answered it in an anxious voice. Hearing that I had his wallet, he sighed with relief and told me he would return right away. Ten minutes later, the man arrived. After confirming he was the owner, I handed the wallet back to him. With his thumb up, he expressed his gratitude to me repeatedly. Seeing the smile on his face, I felt happy that I was able to help.

Last Friday, as usual I rode my bike home. But at a crossing, I accidentally knocked an old man off his bike. I hurried over and found his leg was injured. Nervous and worried, I called my mom and told her what had happened. We decided to take him to the hospital first. 
Soon after we arrived at the hospital, my mother came. The doctor gave the old man a 
thorough examination. To our delight and relief, there was nothing seriously wrong with him. We thanked the doctor and left. 
After that, we went back to where the bike was parked only to find it didn’t work. So I immediately found a repairman to get it fixed. Before the old man left, my mom offered him our cellphone number in case he needed to contact us. Then the old man got on his bike and we waved goodbye to each other. 
The accident made me realize that in the first place we should be careful to avoid accidents, but once they occur, we should take responsibility.
