高升本入学考试英语考试说明
一、考试的性质
　　根据高考规定的内容以测试学生的基本技能，特别是语言应用能力为目的的选拔性考试。
 二、考试的题型
　　分为两大部分，即客观型考试和主观型考试，考试试卷结构如下图所示。

三、测试要求
（一）听力理解：测试考生获取口头信息的能力。录音语速为100词/分钟。
　　要求能听懂英语国家人士关于日常生活或社会生活的谈话，理解中心大意和关键的细节。所选材料能够是描述性﹑解释性或说明性的，反映日常生活的句子﹑对话，及一般性的新闻报道和短评等，题材涉及社会﹑文化﹑经济﹑科学﹑艺术﹑人文等等。其中出现的语法难度不超出高考大纲的相关规定，词汇原则上不超过大纲对高考词汇手册的词汇要求，但用语或生词要求考生能根据上下文猜测。背景知识应在考生掌握或理解的常识之内，不会出现超出原文专门测试背景知识或智力的题目。
　　听力理解部分为客观测试题型，要求考生从所提供的四个选择项中选择一个最佳答案，每题仅限选择一个答案，多选无效，答错不倒扣分。
听力理解材料的录音由来自英美国家的专家录制，有英式也有美式英语，但不带明显的地方口音。录音的语速为100词/每分钟，每个问句后留有约10秒的间隙，供考生回答问题。

Part I Listening Comprehension (1 point each)
Section A Short Conversations
Directions: In section A, you will hear ten short conversations between two speakers. At the end of each conversation, a question will be asked about what was said. The conversation and the question will be spoken only once. After you hear a conversation and the question about it, read the four possible answers in your paper, and decide which one is the best answer to the question you have heard.
Example:
You will hear:
M: Are you going to the shopping center tonight?
W: Tonight? I have to work on my physics test tomorrow.
Q: What does the woman mean?
You will see:
A. She is going to the shopping center.
B She can not go with the man.
C She will work with the man tonight.
D She will have a physical exam tomorrow.

Section B Passages
Directions: In section B, you will hear two short passages, and you will be asked three questions on each of the passages. The passages will be read twice but the questions will be spoken only once. When you hear a question, read the four possible answers in your paper and decide which one would be the best answer to the question you have heard.
Section C Longer Conversations
Directions: In this section, you will hear two longer conversations. After each conversation, write down four words in the blanks. The conversations will be read twice.

（二）语法和词汇：测试考生运用词汇、短语和句法结构的知识能力。
测试范围为高考教学大纲中对高考英语词汇手册的要求：词汇五题，语法二十题。
语法和词汇样题：
Part II Grammar and Vocabulary (1 point each)
Grammar : 1-20 (1 point each)
( 非谓语动词5题，时态和语态4题，倒装2题，代词1题，连词和从句4题，介词2题，名词和主谓一致2题)

（三）完形填空：测试考生运用语言的综合能力。
约为250字左右的篇章，题材熟悉、难度中等，所填的词包括结构词和实义词。

 　（四）阅读理解：测试考生能在一定的时间内准确、快速地获取篇章信息的能力。题材广泛，包括社会、文化、日常知识、科普常识、人物传记等。体裁多样。题目大多为下列几种。
　　（1）问主旨大意。
　　（2）问写作意图。有的是为了传达信息，有的是对人们发出劝告或抒发自己的真情实感，或是场景描述等，有时作者的意图明明白白地写在文章里，而有时就需要经过分析和推理才能够弄清楚。
　　（3）问具体细节。包括其中的数字、例子、专有名词以及五个W所涉及的内容。
　　（4）问文章中的指代关系，即要求考生理解并指出文章中代词所替代的句子成分或表示的含义。
　　（5）让应试者作出是非判断，检验阅读的准确性。
（6）让应试者进行推论判断。

（五）翻译：测试考生运用高考词汇手册中词汇翻译句子的能力，共十句，每句话给出关键词。

Directions: Translate the following Chinese sentences from Chinese to English, using the words in the blankets.
Example:
犯了错误最好尽快承认，因为诚实才是上策。(admit)

（六）写作：测试考生在基础阶段学习后用英语进行书面表示思想的能力。
命题作文：要求根据所给的题目和要求写一篇120字左右的作文，内容切题、条理清晰、结构严谨、语言通顺，体裁为议论文。
写作样题：
Part VI Guided Writing (15 points)
请根据下面图表（略），用英语写一篇比较性议论文。
1．短文须包括所有图表内容，能够适当增加细节，使短文连贯。
2．字数超过120。
