　　First of all, the use of disposable plastic bags do cause irreversible harm to our environment. As these bags are not biodegradable, they are blocking the drainage system and causing water pollution. What’s more, customers using disposable plastic bags may think that they are of great convenience. But what they don’t quite realize is that there will be remarkable negative impact on our health. And sometimes careless disposal of these bags may even poison some innocent animals.
In view of the severity of this issue, effective measures have been taken in our country. There has been a strict limit on the using of disposable plastic bags in supermarkets, which not only enhances people’s awareness on environmental protection but also cuts down on the cost of the running of supermarkets.

Nowadays, it has been shown on TV and on the radio that every year thousands and thousands of middle school students visit many famous university campuses,which has caused much concern form the society .
       Opinions differ among people concerning whether or not the university campus should be open for tourists. A heated debate is right on its way. On one hand, some people argue that it is a good thing for the students to visit the famous university campus. They say it can enable the middle school students to get more information about the university and prepare themselves with the chance to get into the university. On the other hand, some people hold a negative view about this phenomenon. In their opinion, the public tourism will have negative effects on the universities because it will do harm not only to the environment but also to the intellectual atmosphere.
     These two arguments weighed up, my favor goes to the former. From my perspective, nothing is wrong with the university campus being open to touists. The key point is how to make good use of its positive aspects and avoid its negative points.

On Studying Abroad

Nowadays, with the rapid development of economy in China, it is not surprising to find that there are more and more Chinese students studying abroad.

First and foremost, they all hope to become fluent in English so that they can make friends with the foreigners easily as well as have a good knowledge of the foreign cultures and customs. Furthermore, the overseas students have to complete their high schools to gain the certificates granted by foreign authorities, which are essential to the job-hunting. Finally, they will live through this experience to enrich their life.
But as we all know, while studying abroad, the students inevitably meet with a great variety of difficulties. In my opinion, little command of English is the biggest obstacle to their study. What’s more, they have difficulty adapting to the new way of life due to culture shock. Without parental protection, they have to cultivate their independence only by themselves. Last but not least, they are expected to solve the problems like expenses, different food and so forth.
I am convinced that these difficulties will be got over in the long run if all of them devote their efforts. They will be the winners.

　　There is no denying that piracy has caused a great loss to legitimate producers, inventors and writers in many ways. To start with, pirated products often cost much less than the genuine ones so that they enjoy a better trading position in spite of their relatively poor quality. The genuine products, on the contrary, sell poorly. What's worse, pirated books sometimes do great harm to the authors' reputation due to some misprints. In the long run,pirated products may have a negative impact on customers. Those legitimate producers' creativity and enthusiasm may be deeply hurt by the fact that some customers are more interested in the pirated products for the sake of small gains.
　　In my opinion, it's high time that searched immediate solutions to piracy. Customers should develop their consciousness to resist the pirated products. At the same time, the government should strictly enforce the laws which aim at completely banning piracy. I firmly believe piracy will be stopped in the long run if every one of us makes his or her efforts.
