2) Let the students make a free talk about their breakfast or lunch.
2. Begin new lesson
1) Teacher shows the pictures or objects to the students to teach the words. e.g.

3) Let the students watch the video (reference for "eat and drink") to consolidate the knowledge.
4) Teacher organizes a game: One student use body language to show what she/ he doing. Others guess and say what she/ he doing. eg.
Student one: Use body language to show: "She is drinking water."

Teacher repeats and asks student one: She is drinking milk. Yes or no?

一.Class Opening and Review
1. Greeting.
Teacher:“Hello, boys and girls! How are you today？”(Encourage the class to reply)

2. Review Lesson 1: Watch the video “two cats” After the video, ask the class say out these words and sentences “food, eat, drink” “I’m hungry. I want to eat. I’m thirsty. I want to drink.”
3.Sing a number song: “ONE, TWO,…”

二．New Concepts
1. Numbers eleven to fifteen.
Demonstrate：
Use slide to show 11 pitches. When the student counts the ten the teacher says eleven, twelve，Ask the class say a few times after the teacher.
Show that the next numbers have ‘teen’on the end to represent ten’. Study thirteen, thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen one by one in order.
Drill：
Let student counting with teacher from 1 to 11, Then let themselves count immediately after, Practice again and again twelve, thirteen, thirteen、fourteen, fifteen.
Game: The teacher use slide to show pictures and let students to guess and count “What is it? How many?”(For example the courseware)
2. Meat，chicken，fish.
Guiding the student sees the picture：The student can speak the familiar words （for example：bananas, apples, pears, grapes）
“What is Danny saying？”The words of the derivation Danny：This food is good! Explain ‘good’is a word we can describe food phrase. If we like a certain food, We say the ‘Good food!’or‘This is good food!’. Derivation the contents that this lesson wants to learn.
Drill：
Study chicken，fish one by one in order. Encourage nonstandard student in pronunciation.
Practice several more time to read the phonetic symbol allow.

小学学生最大的特点就是好动，那么我们就可以利用学生这一特点，在进行数字教学时采用活动式教学法使每个学生都动起来，在活动中完成接收信息――记忆巩固――消化吸收这一学习过程。
例如，我们在学数字的同时，可以把以前学过的几个表示动作的词“walk、jump、swim ”等与所学的数字相结合，教师可以发口令“boys please jump for 3 times, girls please swim for 5 times”等，让学生边数数边做动作，对于此种活动方式学生可以说是乐此不疲。而且符合小学生的生理特点，以此可以达到最佳的学习效果。

Step one:

Step two:
The teacher asks the students: What does Jenny like, can you tell me?

2.Start new lesson
Step one:
The teacher plays the tape recorder, and the students listen to the tape carefully with the book closed.
Step two:
The teacher repeats the question: What does Jenny like, can you tell me?
The students give the answer.
Step three:
The teacher takes out the pictures: fish, chicken, vegetables and fruit.
The teacher asks the students: Do you know how to say these words in English?
Then the teacher plays the tape again. The teacher has pause at each of the following words: fish, chicken, vegetables and fruit.
The teacher asks the students try to tell the English names for the pictures.
Step four:
The teacher and the students have little games to practice the words.

Step five:

The teacher gives the students a topic “Is fruit good for health?” asking them to discuss in groups.

In the process of teaching, the teacher guide the students step by step, meantime the teacher by dint of interesting games to help the students to keep high enthusiasm in learning and master the knowledge..
