1.新授：处理文本（听tape+提问tape内容）→学生读（2人）→老师读→引导发现语音知识→讲解语音知识（是什么、怎么用）
2.教学目标：
1) 知识：Know the regulation of Liaison.
2) 能力：Use Liaison to read sentences.
3) 情感：Aware the importance of keeping a balanced diet.

一．重读 sentence stress

Grandpa: Can you come over here? Li Lan? I need help finding my glasses.

Li Lan: I SAID, WHERE DID YOU PUT THEM?

1.导入：（朗诵）Dear teachers, let me read this dialogue first.

语气：（引导发现语音知识）now you all have got the meaning of this dialogue clearly. Let’s pay attention to the tone they speak. Ok, let’s listen again.// Have you notice the tone of all these sentences? Yes? So who can tell me which sentences are the rising tone? Frank. Frank said they are “Can you come over here?” “Did you look in your coat pocket?” and “My boat?” Yes, quite right. But do you know why? No? You just listen that they said it in that way. That’s ok. Sit down please. （讲解语音知识） Class, Let’s all look at the material together. Can you find if there is a similarity of the first two sentences? Yes? They are all questions? Indeed. But what kind of question? Oh, general questions. Yes. So can you conclude the rule now? Frank, try again. You said if the sentence is a general question, it should be spoken in a rising tone. Excellent. As for the last one. 重读：（引导发现语音知识）While listening, do you find that some words are stressed and others are not? Yes? But what kinds of words can be stressed and what kinds are not? Ok, let’s listen again and this time, pay attention to what kinds of words did they stress.（讲解语音知识）The tape is over. Did you find it? Cindy, you said you find that words like “come, need, help, finding, glasses. Grandpa..fine..” are stressed. Good, you listened very carefully. Can you find what the property are they? They are nouns, and? Yes, nouns, verbs, adjectives. Right. sit down please. Apart from these three kinds of words, adverbials also needs to be stressed. But we don’t have an adverbial in the dialogue. But still remember that. Then almost the rest words are not stressed. Ok sit down. Oh I see Sara put up her hand. Sara please. You ask why the sentence “I SAID, WHERE DID YOU PUT THEM?” are all stressed? Good, you listened very carefully. The rules we conclude just now are general rules. But when someone really wants to stress on something he intends to let others pay attention. These words can also be stressed. Because grandpa can’t hear clearly. Li Lan stressed every word in a loud voice. Clear about all the rules now? 
3.练习与巩固

（讲解连读知识）The teacher tell the regulation of Liaison：everyone listen to me carefully,this is the new knowledge we are going to learn today,we call it liaisn.sometimes in a sense group,if the former word is ended with a consonant,and the following word begins with a vowel,we can read it together.for example,an apple,a cup of tea.clear?you are so clever.then let’s do some exercise.
3.练习与巩固：（练习）活动1:Ss read these sentences of teaching material following the tape and then read it in pairs to practice the Liaison. Play a game “Whisper” 活动2:Mark the sound which should be linked.

(引导发现语法)So class. Let’s look at the sentence on the blackboard, can you find the structure of this sentence?/some similar structure? Well，you can discuss it with your partner,3 minutes,then l will invite 1 student to share the answer.…ok time’s up,any volunteer?yes,mary,please.Oh, you said that this is a sentence that contains one main clause and one subordinate clause? Is he right? yes. Anything else? No? Ok, then can you find that the verb tense is different? Yes. It’s different. So what’s the verb tense of the main clause? Yes, it’s simple future tense. And what’s that in the subordinate clause? Yes, it’s the simple present tense. And tell me again. （讲解语法）What’s this whole sentence called? It’s an conditional clause lead by if. And this thing “snake robots will be able to help look for people under the buildings” will definitely happen. So we call this whole sentence “sentence of real condition”. And in this case we should pay attention to the verb tense. That is, let’s say it again. We should use simple present tense in the subordinate clause, and use simple future tense in the main clause. Clear?
