中考连词考点归纳

        连词是一个虚词，它不能独立充当句子成份，只能起连接词与词、短语与短语或句子与句子作用。连词是中考必考语法项目之一。纵观近年来各地域中考英语试题，对连词考查主要集中在以下几点：
        一、考查并列连词使用方法
        1.表示并列连词有and、or、either…or、neither…nor、not only…but （also）、both…and、as well as等。其中or、either…or、neither…nor、not only…but （also）等连接主语时，谓语动词与最靠近主语保持一致；as well as连接主语时，谓语动词与连词前面主语保持一致；both…and连接主语时，谓语动词用复数形式。比如：
        1）His father is a teacher and his mother is a doctor.他父亲是一位老师，母亲是一位医生。
        2）Which do you like better， juice or coffee？果汁和咖啡，你更喜欢哪一个？
        3）Not only the students but（also）Mr.Li has lunch at school.不但学生们，还有李老师都在学校吃午饭。
        4）Both New York and London have traffic problems.纽约和伦敦都存在交通问题。

        二、考查隶属连词使用方法
        1.引导时间状语从句连词有before“在……之前”、after“在……之后”、as soon as“一……就……”、when“当……时”、while“当……时候”、slnce“自从”、till/until“直到”等。

        5.引导结果状语从句连词有so/such…that“如此……以至于”、so that“以致”、so“所以、所以”。在so/such…that结构中，so后接形容词或副词，such后常跟名词或名词短语。但当名词前有many、much、few或little等词修饰时，用so。比如：
