Unit3 At the zoo (period1) 单元分析：本单元主要为学生身边事物在英语中的运用。主要介绍小朋友熟悉的动物的同时增长他们的视野。在本单元的教学过程中，教师可以利用图片单词卡片等的教学适当加入一些游戏，以寓教于乐，进而加深学生的印象。本单元的教学能力目标为1、掌握新的认知词汇giraffe, fat ,thin ,tall ,short ,pig ,big ,six ,milk等。2、句型：运用Its tall/short/fat/thinIt has来描述动物的外形特征。（同时可以进行知识能力的拓展，描述人物的外形，如Hes/Shes）。在学习本单元的同时要培养学生的情感目标，让他们意识到“动物是人类的朋友，应该保护爱护动物，在动物园一定要遵守动物园的园规教学内容：Lets talk, draw and say, lets do(page24-25)教学重点：句型：Look at ，指看动物，引起注意的表达。 Its fat/thin/tall/short ,对动物进行体形的最基本的描述。教学难点：词汇：tall，short，fat，thin两对相对词在描述动物时的运用。 纠正thin的读音，并认识一种新的动物giraffe教具准备：点读机，word cards, some pictures教学目标：知识与能力目标：1.能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意。2能够在语境中理解Itstall/short/fat.的语用功能，并在图片或动作等帮助下，使用Its+adj.描述动物的外形特征。 3.能够朗读对话，并能进行角色表演。4.能够自己简笔画出常见小动物，并运用学到的语言结构描述自己的作品。 情感目标：了解更多的动物，培养学生保护动物的意识。教学过程：一、Warming-up 1、greeting to the class.2、play the song“teddy bear”，students can sing together.3、ask and answer，师生进行新课前的问答交流。 T：well，today we will have a new lesson. Before the new class, I will ask you some questions. Do you remember whats songs name we have listened . S1: Teddy bear. T: Good, do you have teddy bear toys? Do you like them?(explain teddy bear toy) (S2-S4 answer) T: Well done! Teddy bear is animal. But where can we see many animals? (肢体语言配上熟悉的动物的声音，引出animal的意思，并举出相类似的动物类型，让学生猜测，进而引入单元话题at the zoo二、Presentation 1、Revision由歌曲中的teddy bear，引出寻找参加救援teddy bear 的小动物们display the animal pictures to have the revision of animal family.(寓教于乐，在课堂前开始的几分钟旨在复习，为下面的教学过程铺垫) 2、图片展示，引进新的动物单词，giraffe. 3、学习一些动物名称之后，指引学生分别动物的时候应该注意的外形特征，辅之以PPT中的elephant and ant的体形，引出以前学过的big与small在表达外形特征上的相对之义。 4、引出除了big与small的特征表达之后，tall与short，fat 与thin的相对之义。Display the word cards on the blackboard, teach students to read them and know their meanings. (单词教学之中，进行group work, pick the best group;单词结束之后，play the game，two students point the right word cards the teacher read) 5、tall, Short, fat, thin 教学之后，利用PPT进一步讲解新单词的意思，并教授用Its tall/short/fat/thin来描述动物的外形特征以及它们相互之间的相对之义。 6、利用Look at，its，描述P25页的lets learn 部分的动物特征。 7、Lets do(P25).play the tape, teacher do action.teacher and students do together.organize four students to act them out following the tape. 8、explain the dialogue（P24 Lets talk part） Two questions to check: How many animals they see at the zoo?. Can you describe them each? 9、I can draw my animal可以根据自己的喜好画出自己的动物，并用“Look at my ，its”练习。 S1：Look at my monkey, its thin. S2：Look at my cat, its fat.
