一、 教材分析
本节课的教学内容为PEP小学英语四年级下册Unit3 Weather Part A Let’s learn and Let’s chant.这一单元主要内容是学习形容天气的英文表达。本课时通过天气预报员预报中国几大城市的气温和天气状况，学习运用cold，warm，cool，hot四个形容词来表达天气状况。
二、 教学目标
1. 能够听、说、认读单词cold，warm，cool，hot，weather.
2. 能够熟练运用句型“It’s in .”来介绍不同

地方的天气特征。
3. 通过学习，培养学生良好的人际交往与合作能力，学
会关注天气，合理着装。
三、 教学重难点
重点：学习单词cold，warm，cool，hot，weather；熟练运用句型“It’s in .”来介绍不同地方的天气特征。
难点：单词weather的发音。
四、教学准备
单词卡片、歌曲《Rain, rain, go away》、教学录音、教学挂图
五、教学过程
(一)Warm up
1.Free talk
T:What’s the weather like today? It’s not cold today. It’s
not hot today. So it’s warm today. And it’s sunny today. It’s not rainy. I don’t like rainy days. Rain, rain, go away.
板书单词：cold（5℃） hot（30℃）
2.Sing a song of《Rain, rain, go away》T

（二Presentation
1.Learn the words: warm，cool，weather.
①单词warm的教学
T:What’s the weather like in Yueyang today?
Is it cold today?
Ss:No,it isn’t.
T:Is it hot today?
Ss:No,it isn’t.
T:So it’s warm in Yueyang today.
板书单词warm（20℃），并带读。
板书句子It’s warm in Yueyang today.并带读
②单词cool的教学
教师出示一张刮风的图片，问：What’s the weather like?
It’s windy.It’s cool
板书cool（15℃），并带读。

Warm,warm,it’s warm today.
Cool,cool,it’s cool today.
Hot,hot,it’s hot today.
③单词weather的教学。

2.Weather report
