本单元以问路为话题。对话通过读地图呈现指路及表明具体位置的语言表达方式；问路和指路是实用性很强的技能，在本单元的教学过程中，教师要引导学生大量实践，帮助学生熟练地掌握相关语言。
学生分析
1. 学生已经熟悉了 bank supermarket bookshop等有关地点的单词。
2. 学生对于picture talking 的呈现形式会感兴趣。
3. 学生英语的听读能力还有待加强。可以通过身边的实景激发他们学习问路的兴趣，重点练习听读能力。
