2） 阅读短文，能按要求获取相关的信息。

学习运用used to来表达“过去常常”存在的状态或的发生的动作。

Ⅰ. Revision  
Translate the sentences into English. 
1. 马里奥以前很矮，他戴着眼镜。

2. Can you guess what she was like?   Yeah, she used to be very shy.  
3. Do you want to know her story?  
  She took up singing to deal with her shyness.  As she got better, she was not shy anymore and 
loved singing in front of crows. Now she’s the Asian pop star.

Tell Ss to read the article and identify the paragraphs in which the following information appears. Number the information [1-3].
