如何介绍人物(unit 1)
【写作指导】
人物介绍类文章一般采用“总—分—总”三段模式。第一段言简意赅，开门见山，直奔主题，简要介绍人物身份及其成就；第二段介绍人物的主要经历；第三段用一两句话总结全文，达到首尾呼应，起到画龙点睛的效果。

Madam Curie, a Polish woman scientist, was well-known for her great achievements.
She was born in Poland, on November 7th, 1867. When she was young, she became interested in physics and read as many books as she could on the subject. At that time women were not admitted to universities in Poland, so Marie was determined to go to Paris and study there. She succeeded in taking a degree in physics two years after arriving in Pairs. After graduation she took another degree in mathematics.
She loved science so much that she devoted all her life to it. In 1903, she received the Nobel Prize for Physics. In 1911, again she got the Nobel Prize for Chemistry. She set a good example to us all.

       Two friends with their dogs decided to stop for coffee, so they walked into a local café. Upon seeing a “No Animals Allowed” sign, the man with the Doberman (杜宾犬) said, “Don’t worry; put on these dark glasses. We’ll pretend these are our guide dogs.
     So the men went into the café. When the waiter came over, he said to the man with the Doberman, “I’m sorry, sir, but we do not allow animals in here. You’ll have to take that dog outside.”
“But this is my guide dog,” said the man.
“A Doberman! A Doberman isn’t a guide dog,” said the waiter.
“Actually, a Doberman is particularly suited to being a guide dog nowadays. They provide lots of protection and they are very well mannered.
“Oh, all right then,” said the waiter, and then he noticed the other dog. “Excuse me sir, but you can’t have that dog in here,” he said to the other man.
“Oh yes I can, this is my guide dog,” said the man.
“But that dog isn’t a guide dog! It’s blind,” said the waiter.
The man shouted suddenly, “What, they gave me a blind dog?!”
