一、教学目标
1．to read the words: how are you, good morning, I’m fine, thank you.
2．Able to use “good morning, how are you?” to greet others.
Able to use “good morning. I’m fine, thank you.” to respond others.
3. able to sing the song “ hello, hello”.
4. Emotional attitude: students are interested in listening, speaking English by singing English songs, playing English game and imitating English speaker.
二、教学重点
read the words: how are you, good morning, fine, thank you.
use the “Good morning, How are you? I 'm fine, thank you.
三、教学难点
1. can understand“how are you, good morning, fine, thank you”.
2. can use the Hello! Hi! Good morning. I’m…. Goodbye! How are you? I 'm fine, thank you.” to carry on simple conversation.

PPT, computer, tape-recorder, tape, cards

六、 教学过程
Step1: review
Hello! Hi! Good morning. I’m … Goodbye/bye---bye.
Step 2: warming up
Sing the song "Hello" together
Step3: The Presentation
(1) activity1
watch the video of activity 1. Students can generally know the scene.
listen to the tape of activity 1 2times, then follow the tape sentence by sentence.
( tt ask students must point to the text.)
Students read together
Teacher choose one line students to say hello to them one by one. Each student must use “ good morning, miss yin. Goodbye, miss yin” to answer the teacher.
(2) activity 2
watch the video and listen to the tape of activity 2.
Read after the teacher sentence by sentence or phrase by phrase, then read together.
Pair work:
Students use good morning, how are you? I’m fine to do the dialogue with their partner.
(2 min)
Teacher ask volunteers to show their dialogue, and reward good performers with sticker.
3. Practice
the game "musical chairs":
(1) First of all, the whole class is divided into two groups.
With rhythm, the teacher may tap on a small drum, two groups of students start to spend at the same time, when the teacher of the drum stops, the two groups each have a student to spend, then, to take students to say : good morning, …. How are you?
(2) make students themselves the environment of English language, and let the students themselves to a place of using the language.
The teacher show the scene graph for the students, then let them say what to say in the scene?
(3) two to four people a set of exercises to greet others with: good morning, …. How are you? If the student has an English name, practice is more realistic. If there is no English name, they can use Chinese name instead. Break up in the stressed said Goodbye. / Bye - Bye.
4. Learn the text and tape again, students listen to the tape refers to images. Play the dialogue again and ask the students to read 2-3 times;
5. consolidation
Free combination:
Students change their seats under the understanding and meet new partners, especially know English name. Students Practice: Good morning, I 'm.../ Hi, I 'm... How are you, I’m fine. Goodbye. / Bye - Bye.
6. Homework:
(1) let the students summarize new language we learned today
(2) let students use English to greet and introduce themselves to their parents and partners.
