Because he often plays soccer there, he likes the playground best. 因为他经常在那踢足球，所以他最喜欢操场。 He eats because of hunger. 他因为饥饿而吃饭。 2. every (adj) 每一，每一个。请注意因为以其修饰的名词均为单数，所以谓语动词相应也是单数；与every合成的代词的用法与其相同，谓语动词也应用单数。 eg. Every student is here.每个学生都到了。 Everyone is here.大家都到了。 He gets up early every morning. 他每天早上起床很早。 3. letter(n)（1）信（2）字母 eg. I like swimming best. = My favorite sport is swimming. 我最喜欢游泳。 2. three times a week一周三次，用来表示频率。 类似的用法：five times a year; twice a month等，一般在句子中出现这样的时间状语时，用一般现在时。对频度副词提问应该用疑问词How often。 eg.
