I took a tour to the Great Wall with my parents yesterday. We went there by coach. Though the coach was full of people, the trip was interesting because I could look out of the window and enjoy the beautiful nature. It took us two hours to get there.

As soon as we got to the top of the Great Wall, we began to take photos of the Great Wall and people from different countries. We stayed on the wall for half an hour and we had a great time there. While I was watching the Great Wall, I felt proud of our country.

After we came back home, I was very tired but very happy. I hope I can go there again next time.

How are you? Now I enjoy my school life very much. We have many after-school activities and I can take part in any of them.

On Thursday afternoon, I often go to English corner in our school. I can talk or discuss something with my classmates in English there. Of all the after-school activities, I like reading books best. I usually go to the library and read my favorite books on Tuesday afternoon. I think books can let me know more about the world.

I’m a student from Lingnan Middle School, which is near the river. Before your factory was built, the water in the river was clean. We could see many fish swimming in it at that time. And there were trees on both sides of the river. We liked to take a walk along the river after school.

But last year, you opened the factory near the river and the factory has poured waste water into the river. The water has been polluted and it smells terrible. Lots of fish have died and we have lost the nice place for relaxing.
