1、 八年级下册Unit5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came? Section A(1a-1c) 教学设计 花垣县民族中学 杨慧琴 一 教材分析 1、 位置和内容:本节课所上的是人教版英语八年级下册第五单元第一课时。学会谈论过去正在发生的事情是本单元的语言目标。本节课主要学习在由when引导的时间状语的情况下的过去进行时。通过讨论在暴风雨来临时人们在做什么,让学生学习一些暴风雨的基本情况,让他们意识到当我们遇到自然灾害时要团结一致,齐心协力,一同共度过难关。 2、教学重点:过去进行时态:“was / were + doing”结
2、构 when引导的时间状语从句 3、教学难点:掌握由when引导的时间状语如何使用过去进行时。 二 学情分析 我所任教的两个班级的学生在七年级下册就学过现在进行时,大部分学生掌握如何使用现在进行时来描述日常活动,而且掌握了一些日常活动的短语,这有利于他们学习过去进行时。但是还是有部分学生对于现在进行时的构成法不是掌握的很清楚。少部分的学生学习积极性不够高,这需要在教学当中积极鼓励他们。 三 教学目标: 1、知识目标:要求学生掌握使用过去进行时来询问或描述过去进行的事情,并学会用when描述某动作或某事件的发生,稍微了解when和while的区别。
3、2、能力目标: 1)学习并记住新单词:rainstorm. 短语:at the time of,on the street,at the bus stop, wait for the bus,walk home. 2) 能在交际过程中教流利的运用when和at the time of引导的句型。 What was the girl doing at the time of the rainstorm / when the rainstorm came? She was doing her homework. 3) 能在听听力的过程中学会抓取和记录关键信息,能
4、够听出连读,弱读的词组。 3、 情感目标:让学生了解暴风雨的基本情况,让他们意识到当我们遇到自然灾害时要团结一致,共同度过难关。 四 教学方法 听说法,学习合作法,任务型教学法,情景交际教学法。 五、 教学工具 多媒体, 白板, 白板笔, 视屏录像,ppt翻页笔 六 教学步骤 Step1 Lead-in Ask Ss to watch a video about rainstorm to lead into the topic. T: Let’s watch a video, pay attention to the weather. Then tell me wh
5、at the weather is like. (设计意图:通过观看关于暴风雨的视频,让学生感受一下自然灾害的威力,让他们初步意识到如果我们遇到自然灾害,我们要团结一致,共同度过难关。同时激发学生的思维,活跃课堂气氛,激起学生表达的欲望。) Step2 Presentation 1. Make sure the task of this lesson. 1)、学习并记住新单词:rainstorm. 短语:at the time of,on the street,at the bus stop, wait for the bus,walk home.
