3、sage of some phrases. [教学过程] Step 1. Warming –up and Lead in  Activity. Free talk (class work)   (1) Ask students to talk about their dreams freely. (2) Invite some Ss to answer this question: what is your dream?/ What is your hope?  (3) Show students my hope and my dream. My hope is to h

4、ave a baby next year. My dream is to sail across the Pacific Ocean. (So what’s the difference between hopes and dreams?) A hope is easier to come true than a dream. A hope is more realistic than a dream. Goal: To lead up to the topic, get Ss to warm up and arouse their interest in the top

5、ic.   Step 2. Pre-reading   Activity1 :Look and guess (class work)   In this activity, Ss are required to look at the title and guess what they will read.   Activity2: Brain-storming (class work)   In this activity, I will show them a picture that related to the title. Ss are encouraged to thin

6、k of as many words as possible to describe the picture.   Goal: To develop Ss’ predicting skill and present some new words in the passage.  Step 3. Reading   Activity 1: Skimming (class work)   Ss are required to go through the whole passage quickly to get the general idea and pay special atten
