看谁快 这是一个训练学生听字母的游戏，将全班分成两组，一组学生持大写字母，另一生持小写字母，教师快速念字母，要求持有该字母的学生迅速站起来，最先站起来的两分，后站起来的得一分，没站起来的得零分，得分多的组获胜。

Step 3. Group work
1. Discuss what these letters (P, NBA, kg) mean in groups.
2. Ask the students to say out where we can find English words or English names around us and what they are．What’s the meaning of them? Maybe the students can list a 1ot．If they couldn’t，give them some notes such as: USA am pm cm MTV
Step 4. Presentation
1.Present the usage of “a” and “an” with conversations:

2. Explain the differences between “a” and “an”.

Play the tape for the students and then check the answers.

Practice the dialogue by using other different words in pairs, such as:

Practice the dialogue and write down what they see in the picture in 2a.

And get them to introduce themselves to the others with their new English name. The teacher can give them an example with the help of one student．
