Step 2 Presentation 第二步 呈现 （时间：10分钟）
1. （教师先做自我介绍，介绍以下内容: 来自哪里、年龄、所在学校、年级、班级以及电话号码。然后把第一人称改为第二人称，呈现介绍他人的表达，为学习1 Read and understand做准备。提醒学生第一人称单数I后面跟be动词am，第三人称单数he/she后面跟be动词is。）

（找两个学生上讲台扮演教师问话，使课堂气氛更活跃。）
（拿出2中的第二幅图画，挂在稍远的地方，师生对话。）

Ss: They’re buses.（划线生词要重读。）

Step 4 Practice 第四步 练习 （时间：15分钟）
1. （做一个“找单词，拼句子”游戏，练习Is this/that …, Are these/those …句型。）
T: Let’s play a game to make up sentences.
（1）教师事先制作一些卡片，每张卡片上写一个单词。
（2）在教室前面的墙上拉一根长绳子，绳子上挂上一些小铁钩。教师抽出一组卡片，每张卡片用铁夹子夹住并连同夹子一起挂在铁钩上。见下图。

（3）让学生在有限的时间内通过不断调换卡片的位置，尽可能地拼出不同的句子。拼出的句子越多越好。拼出正确的句子后，其他学生要做肯定/否定回答。
① This is an orange. / That is an orange.
② Is this an orange? / Is that an orange？
③ These are oranges. / Those are oranges.
④ Are these oranges? / Are those oranges?
（4）教师换上另一组卡片，让学生举手念出他们拼出的句子。教师将拼出的句子都写在黑板上。
本活动可用分组竞赛形式，每组单词可多可少，教师灵活掌握。
2. （根据教师和学生S1的回答，让学生们写一则介绍S1的小短文，巩固练习写作。）

3. （拿出图片，操练What’s this/that in English? Is this/that a/an …? What are these/those in English? Are these/those …? 为完成4 Pair work做铺垫。）
