（1）. We promise that this therapy can help you change your moods.
Promise 在文中作及物动词使用，表示“允诺；承诺”的意思。常用于下面几种结构：
promise sb sth / promise sth to sb 答应/许诺某人某事，promise后接双宾语。
Eg;：I promise my mother success in the exam. I can’t fail it.我向妈妈承诺过考试要成功，我不能失败。
I promised you to come back before suppper.我答应你在晚饭之前回来。
promise to do sth 承诺将会做某事
Eg：He has promised to behave better. 他答应要表现的好些。
promise (sb) that 许诺说
Eg : She promised her brother that she would write to him. 她答应弟弟将给他写信。
promise 还可以做名词，常见的短语有：
make a promise 许诺 Keep/ break one’s promise 信守/违背诺言
（2）. She will give us free clothes.
free在本句作形容词用，表示“免费的”、有时 free也表示“自由的，独立的，随意的，空闲的”等，作表语定语都可以。使用时根据具体语境来确定其含义。
Eg：①You are free to do as you wish. 你想怎么做都可以。
②All the books were given away free. 所有的书都免费赠送了。
③She picked up a new magazine with her free hand.
她用空着的一只手拿起了一本新杂志。
（3）. She suggest different colours to different people.
Suggest表示建议，用法如下：
1)Suggest+ 名词/代词或suggest+名词/代词to+人，但不能说suggest sb sth ,即不能加双宾做宾语
eg: We suggest him the plan (Χ) 但We suggest the plan to him(√)
2）suggest+doing sth
eg He suggested going out for a walk.
注意：suggest 不可以加不定式，所以上面的句子不可以这样写：
He suggested to go out for a walk.(Χ)
3）suggest +(that )+主语+(should) do+sth
eg: He suggested that you should go there tomorrow.
注意，不可以这样说：He suggested you to go there tomorrow.也就是说suggest不可以加不定式的复合结构。

（4）．一些常给别人提建议的句型
(1) Why don’t you do sth…?/ Why not do sth…..?表示“你为什么不做某事“
(2) How/ What about doing sth 表示“…..怎么样”
(3) You should /ought to do sth…… 表示“你应该做某事”
(4) You’d better (not) 表示“你最好做/不做某事”

(5) Shall we ….? 表示“我们做…..吗”
(6) Let’s do sth….. 表示“让我们做某事吧”。
(7) Would you like to do sth ? 你喜欢做某事吗？
