A.词汇
1.exercise练习，可数名词。如：
Do the exercises on Page 40,please.请做第40页上的练习。
exercise也有“训练，锻炼”的意思，为不可数名词。如：
She doesn't get enough exercise.她没有得到足够的体育锻炼。
2.hear听见，听（指听的结果，而listen“听，留神听”指听的过程）
The old man is listening to the radio.老人在听收音机。
I can't hear anything.我什么也听不见。
3.music n.音乐，为不可数名词。a piece of music一阵音乐
4.radio收音机
复数形式radios，常见词组：
listen to the radio听收音机 turn on the radio开收音机 turn off the radio关收音机 turn down the radio关小收音机（音量）
5.tidy vt.使……整洁，放整齐；adj.整洁的，整齐的。如：
We usually tidy our room on Sunday.我们通常在星期天整理房间。（动词）
It's a tidy room.这是个整洁的房间。（形容词）
6.over prep.在……之上;adv.结束。如：
There is a bridge over the river.河上有座桥。（介词）
The party is over.晚会结束了。（副词）
B.短语
1.an exercise book 一本练习本
exercise的读音是以元音开头，其前冠词应该用an,而不是a。又如：
an old man,an apple,an orange,an egg,an idea等
2.the summer/winter holiday 暑假/寒假
在这个短语中，summer,winter前面的定冠词不能少。
C.句型
1.Is this cap yours?这顶帽子是你的吗？
No,it's not mine.不，不是我的。
It's Tom's.是汤姆的。
此处Tom's等于It's Tom's cap.在上下文明了的情况下，名词所有格后面的名词可省。
2.Is the bag yours or theirs?这个包是你的还是他们的？
It's mine,of course.当然是我的。
选择疑问句常用or连接，回答时不用Yes或No。
3.Here's an exercise book.这儿有本练习本。
英语中以here,there开头的句子常用倒装句。如：
Here is a little present for you.这儿有个小礼物给你。
但如果主语为人称代词，就不必完全倒装。如：
Here you are.给你。
Here it is.它在这儿。
