Step 2 Presentation
I. Look at the pictures and learn the new words.
1.(Show some pictures of the new words in the passage on the big screen)
Present some new words and expressions to the Ss.
2. Ss learn the new words and expressions by themselves and try to remember them.
II. Activity 2a
Show some photos of animals on the screen. Ask the class to answer the questions
What kind of animal are you afraid of ? Why?
Example: I think people are afraid of tigers, lions and snakes because they’re scary.
Make a list. Ask students to say the words by themselves.
