能听懂谈论健康问题的对话材料；能根据别人的健康问题提建议；能写出重点单词和重点句型，并能描述怎样对待健康问题。。
3．情感态度价值观目标：
通过开展扮演病人等活动，培养学生关心他人身体健康的品质。 通过本课的阅读，培养学生处理紧急事件的基本能力，树立紧急事件时互相帮助的精神。
教学重点
(1)、短语: have a stomachache, have a cold, lie down, take one’s temperature, go to a doctor, get off, to one’s surprise, agree to do sth., get into trouble, fall down, be used to, run out (of), cut off , get out of, be in control of , keep on (doing sth.), give up
(2)、句子:
—What’s the matter?
—I have a stomachache.
—You shouldn’t eat so much next time.
(3)、根据别人的健康问题提建议。

Step 1 New words：
Bandage n. 绷带 v. 用绷带包扎 knee n. 膝盖 nosebleed n. 鼻出血
sunburned adj. 晒伤的 climber n. 登山者 rock n. 岩石
knife n. 刀 blood n. 血 spirit n. 勇气；意志control n. & v. 限制；约束；管理 accident n.（交通）事故; 意外遭遇
sick adj. 生病的；有病的 eg：Her mother is very sick.
breathe v. 呼吸 eg：Fish cannot breathe out of water.
Step 2 Presentation：
1. Discuss: Did these accidents happen to you?
When they happen, what should you do?
eg：get hit on the head / cut her finger / fall down / have a nosebleed
2. 1a. When these accidents happen, what should you do?
Put the actions in order.
1. 1b. Listen to the school nurse. Check the problems you hear.
2. 1c. Listen again. Write the letter of each treatment next to the problems you
checked in the chart above.
Step 4 Speaking：
1d. Role-play a conversation between the nurse and the teacher. Use the information in 1b and 1c.
A: Who came to your office today?
B: First, a boy came in. He hurt himself in P.E. class.
A: What happened?
B: He has a nosebleed.
Step 5 Presentation：
2a. Accidents or problems can sometimes happen when we do sports. Write the letter of each sport next to each accident or problem that can happen.
A = soccer B = mountain climbing C = swimming

Step 6 Reading:
1. 2b. Read the passage and underline the words you don’t know. Then look up the words in a dictionary and write down their meaning.

2. Reading tasks:
2c. Read the statements and circle True, False or Don’t Know.
2d. Read the passage again and answer the questions.
