Because homework is so important that the Ss should use English as much as they can in class or after class.四、教学反思 这是九单元Reading的第一课时。Reading是对学生英语语言的综合运用,篇幅比较长,词汇较多(25个生词+4个短语),学生学起来感觉吃力。该班学生还

16、没学到这个单元,所以我让学生提前预习,并将内容表格化,这样看起来一目了然,既简化了文章的内容,又利于学生对文章的理解,也为复述文章提供了方便。Section 1是对四个国外城市的了解,由于学生知识水平的限制,我将内容简化为国内外的名胜,学生谈论起来有话题,也巧妙为下面的文章学习作好铺垫。“三步读”让学生对文章既感到阅读的条理性,又加深了对内容的理解。由于课堂上时间比较仓促,我把复述课文改为了讨论题,提及文章组织方法和线索,也可拓展学生的发散思维能力。在检测反馈环节增加了选词填空作业,目的让学生进一步在语境中运用重点词汇,也培养他们对我国河山的热爱。Section 4的写作训练也布置成家庭作业,让学生有充足的时间来完成。将内容落实到笔头练习,既是对内容的掌握,又锻炼了学生综合运用英语的能力。
